Badlands 2.3/manual, 9k miles and lifetime average is sitting at 19.5, that's with some wheeling and road trips in there. Fairly conservative driver, but honestly most of the driving is short jaunts on county 2 lane roads. Spends a lot of time between 45-60mph.
They got you hook line and sinker.
The only thing that will kill the 2 door is the federal government and CAFE regulations. It's not going anywhere if Ford has its way.
Was 35 and wife 31 when we reserved, one kid who was 5 at the time. We went 2 door after driving a 4runner as that's what we wanted. Kiddo was out of a carseat and can get herself in and out no problem just like she does with my 1st gen 4runner. So we now have two, two door, manual...
I went no SAS badlands with the optional beadlocks. For a couple reasons. I hate the terrible Goodyears that the sasquatch comes with, and honestly am not a big fan of the sasquatch wheels vs the optional badlands wheels. Non sas has slightly better wheel travel, and when you get the manual...
Happy 2 door owner here. It's my wife's DD, kid hauler, and will be our mild wheeler/road tripper. Yes, you have to get a bit more creative with packing, but it works just fine. Have a 10 day Moab trip upcoming, not worried at all about packing everything we need, right down to the fridge.
Seems more like a newbie who is just replicating what he sees on tiktok or the YouTube. Unfortunately he learned the hard way to listen to his spotter, hopefully others learn from him as well.
I do have to say, big fan of their recovery truck. 80 series is best series.
Noticed ours has developed the rattle over bumps back there as well. 8k miles now, will point it out to the dealer when I take it in for service, and to have the transmission and passenger seats looked at
State far, 4 vehicles, boat and house all rolled together. Full coverage or declared value on everything, with full glass coverage, two drivers, clean records. $550 for the Bronco just outside of Chicago.
BFG's and Nitto's have been the two brands I've had the best luck with not leaking, with Interco being the absolute worst. Not only did they leak profusely, they weren't even round.
This right here. In all my years of wheeling, I've only had one set of beadlocks truly never leak, and they were a set of re-entered humvee wheels. And they weren't strait. My Racelines, my MRW's, my Barts, and my Allieds all had at least one tire leak down at some point. The back side of...
