Modern engines are ok with water. I wouldn’t use a pressure washer but anything a hose can do should be ok. Maybe don’t put a hard stream at the opening to the fuse box but there’s no distributor or generator to worry about any more.
A spray and rinse sealant like Gyeon Wetcoat or DIY Ceramic Beads (there’s several options) is a good option to protect a cleaned engine battery btw. Easy and doesn’t require a lot of touching the engine to get in all the nooks and cranNikes.
