Thought about it but decided against it. Ford says to not use solvents on the MIC top and all real coatings use solvents. I’m using Griots ceramic spray wax instead.
Called the 800 number today. They said they’d accommodate me. They even had had control options (which I don’t need). Just requested to let them know what special needs I have before arrival.
Reminds me of a pinto station wagon my uncle had when I was a kid. Don’t hate it lol.

Drove out to Levelland to have a guy help me put the rear mudflaps on. Drove pretty good for 30+ mph winds.
eta: last time I made this trip, also windy but colder. This time I didn’t notice the whistle above the passenger side window.
