  1. 2026 Bronco (BAP) Black Appearance Package on Avalanche and Ruby Red colors

Wheels look great. Lug nuts should be black as well. Would never, ever, buy a car with a black hard roof though. Just too hot.
  2. If you had to pick ONE lighting mod to recommend… what’s the move?

Ditch lights. Bronco headlights have almost no side spill. Right or left turn on a rural or dirt road and you are simply turning into a black hole with no idea what's there.
  3. Convince me that the A-Pillar grab handle is useful

I grab the roll bar if needed. Our F-150 has an A-pillar handle. HATE it. So close to the steering wheel I can hit my fingers on it if open palming the wheel. Bronco one looks as if I'd whack my head on it.
  4. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

Scout is planning direct to customer sales as per Tesla. VW dealers are suing. Colorado passed a law allowing direct to consumer sales for EVs if there were no dealerships, but the Colorado Dealers are claiming the law won't cover Scout since 90% of orders are hybrid. Pop some more popcorn.
  5. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

The "factory" is currently a bulldozed field. The State put up 100 mil in site preparation. Wetland mitigation went over-budget to around 150 mil, but other than that I don't think any actual construction has begun.
  6. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

90% of pre-orders were for the series hybrid (range extender) version. VAG has had over a year of warning that their potential Scout customers have almost zero interest in the BEV version.
  7. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

Lincoln is down to three vehicles. Navigator (Fancy Expy) Aviator (Fancy Exploder) Nautilus (imported from China - no direct Ford equivalent) It's on the C2 platform, so a stretched Escape? Corsair (Fancy Escape) is dead. What platform would you recommend, Mach-E?
  8. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

Aviator is an Exploder. Navigator is an Expy. Bronco/Ranger/Everest framed vehicle would slot between.
  9. Lincoln To Get Bronco-Based Range Rover-Fighter

Body on Frame Ranger platform could just as easily be an Everest based Lincoln.
  10. So Why isn't this 2 Door Badlands Selling?

Ford received a bad lot of valves (overheated during machining) for the 2.7 in 2021. Affected about 2 months of engine production. Never an issue with the 2.3
  11. Does anyone have car tires on their Bronco?

No an XL tire has a stiffer sidewall than SL. It's softer than the C rated factory tire.
  12. So Why isn't this 2 Door Badlands Selling?

Bonus: you teach a teenage girl to drive a stick shift and she doesn't want to date a boy who doesn't know how to. ;-) Cuts down on the riff-raff.
  13. So Why isn't this 2 Door Badlands Selling?

Taught all three on a manual. Bought a 2002 Nissan Frontier for that purpose. Told them they could drive whatever they wanted, but they were damn well going to learn on a stick. Two of them even took their driver's license test using a stick shift. One of them now prefers automatics. One...
  14. So Why isn't this 2 Door Badlands Selling?

We have essentially the same transmission as the Mustang. It can handle the Coyote, it can handle the V6. The problem with the V6 is the bell housing. It's integral and thus can't mate to the Getrag.
  15. 6G Bronco got no soul.

Had to drop the clutch and rev the engine on the 6 cylinder.
  16. Nissan Xterra coming back

Yeah, and I think the premium forces you to get leather. Which is the absolute LAST thing I want in Arid-Zona.
  17. Nissan Xterra coming back

Mazda3 is still available with the stick. Have to buy the hatchback though.
  18. Bronco depreciation

2022 Base. Still worth what I paid for it. Helps that Ford raised prices by 12 grand.
  19. 2.3 or a 2.7

Simple rule - I buy the largest engine that comes with a manual. So, only option is the 2.3.
