This video is really well done. I followed it and got hung up a little on the same area as you, but I used a trim tool like shown in the video and was able to get it out without too much drama.
With a few choice bolt-ons and a custom E85 tune on stock turbosāor 93 octane on the Garrett upgraded turbosāyouāll have enough muscle to move past a Wrangler 392. You might miss the V8 growl, but the look on the other driver's face when a 2.7L gapping them will be priceless. š

That said, without a Whipple, it's slower than a custom tuned 2.7 ;) but at least it sounds good.
Change of plans. I'm limited on time so I decided to install the CVF Cold intake and charge pipes prior to dyno. Just completed a log to see if any changes need to be make to the tune. First impressions are positive, as the Bronco feels like it has more torque in the low and midrange. The CVF...
I know there are PI systems out there for the Ecoboost Mustang, so I image they could be made to work. Might be a better question for a ecoboost tuner, TBH.
That said, I'd personally just run a catch can and upgrade the HPFP. I may end up going this route, since I also hate mixing fuels :)
Iāve been wondering about this as well. I donāt believe there is an aftermarket solution being sold as of yet. When Iām done with a lot of my power mods I may take it to an exhaust shop to see if they can fab something up for me.
I have the same setup, but on a 2DR. I understand what you mean when you say the old setup is jerky, as now with the Sasquatch rims and tires itās a lot smoother. I can ride out each gear much longer and donāt have to shift as much. I would love to drive a similar configuration, but with 4:70...
Updated original post:
Installed the CVFab Performance intercooler and gained 3 MPH in the 1/4 mile. Didn't gain as much in the ET as I would've liked, but I couldn't get a great launch launch with a valid run either. I did 3 back to back 1/4 mile runs and the ACT2 temps topped out at 57 F...
Can't comment on the 2025+ 2.3, but I do like how my 2.3 sounds over the 2.7 that I owned. Of course, both can be made to sound horrible with the wrong exhaust. A reasonator is a MUST IMO. Helps eliminate the dreaded Ecoboost rasp and gives a nice deep tone.
Also, not all V8's sound good. Half...
Nothing but good things to say about the owner, Matthew. Heās knows his stuff when it comes to turbos. The highest HP Ranger Raptor is using his modified Garrettās.

Selling my OEM Chinese Bronco digital gauge cluster if anyone is interested.
It does not work with a manual transmission.... :(

I believe it boils down to good DA, fast shifting and good traction. Most reviews or dragy runs I've seen are in the 7 to 8 sec range 0-60. No reason to believe the MPC wouldn't be just as fast in this configuration.
I purchased this cluster from another Bronco owner that owned a 2024 2.7L Badlands with 15.5K miles
I own a 2021 2.3 7-Speed and this cluster cannot be converted to work with a manual Bronco.
It will ONLY WORK with a 2021+ 2.7 or 2.3, but it has to be an automatic transmission.
The cluster...
Then I would reach out to Matt at TurboBay. Heās currently building my turbo, which will have a similar sized compressor wheel, but with a larger turbine as well.
