I don’t believe this at all. If you inch forward and you disable ASS by doing so, then ASS will not engage again unless you travel something like 50 feet. So inching forward simply will not cause this situation.

Ah. The Bimini sunshade lets you keep all the panels on or take them off. You never have to touch the shade once installed. Could be an option.

You don’t have to have your service done at a dealer to keep warranty. You just need to keep records of the maintenance in case Ford asks to see if a maintenance issue led to the particular issue you are trying to get warrantied. Ford needs to indicate that your lack of/poor maintenance etc…...

Mine has been good to me. But for peace of mind, I agree with another post that I would pick up a quick extended warranty. Then you know you should be covered if anything affecting drivability gets you while on the road. Have fun!

Ford Performance is a division of Ford Motor Company. If FMC is really trying to say that FP is “totally separate,” they may want to look at their corporate structure because that’s patently untrue.
