  1. Ford Performance Tune Dealer Install Issue

If you want to go to South Bay, Ford Performance in Campbell does it. That’s where I went.
  2. Ford launches the 2025 Expedition TREMOR off-road full-sized SUV

I dunno. I have that in one of our cars and it’s pretty awesome. You get used to it pretty quickly.
  3. 2.3l with low boost and stumbles off the line

I would just have them look at it before you add a bandaid. There seems to be an issue. Have them fix it and then, if you want; get the tube after. FWIW - I have the tune on my 2.7. The mapping is awesome; makes the car run like butter. Had it installed by an ASE just to avoid a warranty issue...
  4. Broke on first trail day - coolant leak (2.7)

lol. Well, this is an off road vehicle rated for trailing. Yes, coolant spontaneously leaking at a SB should be covered šŸ˜‚. But, I’ve seen warranty repairs for issues while offloading, as long as there weren’t shenanigans.

Rig looks great. Thank you for not going matte...
  6. Start Stop is not working

    I just learned something.
  7. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

I fully agree here. And folks are starting to think about revoking the CA exception. I’m just saying that for this particular issue, I cannot find anything saying that CA drove the change for the tune.
  8. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

Ok well that’s an issue. If I purchase something and it comes with a feature, and then it updates to remove it, that’s a no-go for me. What are the tune updates providing? Anything useful? (I haven’t updated my tune since I installed it in September 2023)
  9. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

Look, I get it. You think CA is a bully. But they aren’t forcing anyone outside CA to do anything. But even more important, there is no evidence the 2024 tune was changed because of CA… 2021-2023 are 50 state compliant and have rev marching. All the anecdotal evidence I see online points to...
  10. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

I’m guessing you are not from California because in a lot of California you will see heavily modified ICE trucks on 37s with lifts running at 150dB. Tons of ICE racing and off roading. people are not thirsting for aftermarket mod options out here lol
  11. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

It’s the #5 largest economy on earth. Can’t be ignored. Companies need to make business decisions without emotion. Hence why, for now, California has influence.
  12. FORD PERFORMANCE TUNE UPDATE 2.3L Manual -- disabled my auto start stop and rev-match

Can’t exclude CA. The market is massive. That’s why CA can pass a rule and others have to follow.
  13. New Product - - Inner Trail Sight Lights

Yeah I like the Mabett accessions like molle panels or cup holders etc. I’ve tried to give some of their lights and other electrical items a shot, but something about them keeps me away.
  14. How I Wash My Bronco

I’m not going to make fun of you. I’m just amazed you have time to go to a car wash 100x a year!
  15. CHANGE OIL SOON warning at 3800 miles???

Yeah then the system is telling you it’s time to change as opposed to miles dictating the change. Mine is not a daily driver and I put maybe 4-5k miles on it a year. Every summer it wants me to change the oil even though the mileage is low. I usually change oil once a year in all my cars, even...
