Just traded GF 3-series on a new one which we ordered. They guaranteed the trade price for the ~10 week wait plus it’s 30% higher than when we looked in Jan. Cant complain about that!
REALLY like the green and would spec it but I don't know with the BD MGV two-tone and blue stitching. Probably default to AMB simply because it won't clash - which is a shame. If I could do all black interior I'd go green for sure.
Ordinarily I'd agree with you but willing to cut folks some slack in this particular case, it's only been within the last couple of weeks that many have seen things IRL and the color representation on B&P is piss poor.
AWESOME idea. I have MyQ, which I completely forgot about until I happened upon this thread!
I was just going to install this someplace unobtrusive but MyQ is "free" since I already own it and won't require any holes in the Bronco.

Keep us posted, I'll likely to the same. I'd actually do the light bar in the pic you posted too, between that and the fogs I'd be pretty much done with external lighting needs.
It could be worse, some cars the higher up you go in spec the fewer color choices you get. My 2016 2-series BMW, I forget exactly but I think there were 14 color choices on the 4-cyl, 8 color choices on the 6-cyl, then only 4 on the full blown M version. So the more you spend the fewer colors...
No idea how Ford manufacturing is set up compared to someone like Audi, but in many cases you can pick from a dozen colors offered on a particular car, spend $3K or so and get any color they currently offer regardless of car, then finally $6K for any color they have ever offered.
Again MAP may...
I do the same, then an oil change, then unleash hell. I am probably being paranoid with modern engines but 1K isn't a long time to be careful for a little OCD peace of mind.
Does anyone use temporary paint protection when going off road? I have a lot of buddies who use this sort of thing for a track day, no idea how it would hold up to branches or anything out in the wild.

There are two dynamics at play. First dark colors show flaws more than light colors. More importantly for this conversation I believe, metallics are harder to touch up. If you get a regular paint e.g. basic black versus another dark color but metallic like AMB, the black will be easier to touch up.
My garage is pretty organized but I did get the tape measure out to make sure that GF new 3-series and the Bronco would fit. Her car is growing 0.6" which isn't a big deal then the Bronco is 4" wider than any of my other cars. Should be OK but we'll have to see.
The garage where I keep my...
I must be getting very anxious to buy a new vehicle... rather than get new tires for GF 2014 BMW 3-series I'm about to order her a new 2021. That should scratch the car shopping itch for a while and give me something new to play with while waiting for my 2022 Bronco. Garage full of BMWs will...
Call Lloyd’s Mats they make very high quality mats both carpet and all weather. I’m sure they can do a regular all weather trunk liner and a matching mat to cover the seat backs when folded down.
Toying with the idea of leasing just to avoid any headaches, buy it at the end if the car has been hassle free or get a 2024/2025 and keep that one longer term.
With 2021 being a short stub period I can’t imagine they’d have major improvements in 2022. Likely 2023 before they have an opportunity to iron out any kinks.
John Kennedy I’m Conshy had silver and AMB as well - albeit under a tent so couldn’t get the full effect in the sun. Couldn’t believe I was lucky enough to see my two color choices in person side by side. Gotta say AMB 100%, my last lingering concern about my order is totally gone now. No 2-door...
It would look much better, if you mount there though definitely use some 3M adhesive promoter first. Assume the adhesion to the MIC plastic wouldn't be great compared to the paint on the door.
Bronco-specific part number from the OFFICIAL Bronco accessory page is KB3Z-14A626-B which is cross listed as compatible with over a dozen different cars. So yeah, you're 100% right and stating facts.
