If you want to make your life very easy, assuming you have a dealer friend you can do a "pass through" deal for about $100. I've done it in the context of getting a new car then selling my old one privately, but maybe your Ford dealer would help you out as part of getting the new Bronco. They...
Oldest nephew is 6, he can have the Bronco when he starts driving then give to his little brother. I'll get something new then... unless there's nothing that excites me in which case I'll keep the Bronco and the boys are SOL.
BD 2.7 Mid Tow Nav... bad weather in the summer, DD in the winter, beach then VT service roads a couple of times each year. Most import (and probably unique to me) will be city driving, grocery getter, etc. anything with public parking where I don't like taking my other cars.
Logistics and red tape from here to SA can be problematic, OP would be better off finding a dealer in EU to work with if that's a path he wants to go down... Turkey maybe the path of least resistance.
Yeah ping Ford maybe they can help, sounds like there's no regulatory or required restrictions here maybe just your local folks being a pain in the butt for their own reasons.
All of this is a bigger headache than removing the tube steps. The lux pack and B&O much more invasive problem but perhaps OP is not too concerned there. Seems odd... that's the land of the hyper SUV folks buying the best rigs in the world for desert fun, G-Wagen 6x6 all the craziest of crazy stuff.
It's not Tesla, you have to buy from the dealer network at least in most countries no idea on the peculiarities in your part of the world. Sounds like perhaps you're dealing with a broker vs an actual Ford dealer, e.g. they order cars from a Ford dealer, import, then resell?
OP is in Saudi Arabia, lot of "dictating" going on in that part of the world. That said this seems like a very odd situation but if OP is happy otherwise getting tube steps he doesn't want isn't the worst thing in the world. 5 mins w/ a socket set will solve the problem.
The name and website on the listing, I recognized it from when I visited your Bronco page and then clicked through to check out the F1 stuff.
I'd love a shirt inspired by the Top Gear BMW but I cannot figure out how you'd mirror the joke, perhaps a hoodie so you could unzip to separate the text.
And there's no way to spec step bars instead if you are one of those trim levels with rock rails standard, right? I know I can buy them afterwards but the price of the parts is the same (I think) and I have no interest in the rock rails. Not the end of the world but annoying and $600 here for...
Little off topic but in addition to the Bronco shirt for nephew I just snagged a Ferrari shirt from your sister store via Blipshift. Awesome for any non-tifosi F1 enthusiasts....
I’ve met him actually. My point is you telling me it sounds good to you is useless to me unless there’s some sort of common frame of reference e.g. a common car system we’ve both heard and both like. I’m not arguing with your opinion just that I can’t apply it to my preferences without some sort...
Find someone like me to trade with, 2 door BD and I want steps not the rock rails that come included. If timing works out I am local-ish would be happy to swap straight up.
Same here, except my bogey was Bronco + doodads <$45K as this is an occasional bad weather vehicle for me. Any more than that I'd start getting OCD and not use it for its intended purpose (specifically beat the sh!t out of it). From there it was pretty simple BD + 2.7 + advanced AWD, Mid, Tow...
That's good to hear but audio quality (unless you have proper tools to measure) is very subjective. Can you give us some frame of reference for the kind of music you listen to, other systems you have heard (car or home) that you like?
They said they're making one with a light bar... any idea if it's just those vertical LEDs (which I think are their signature option) or if the entire center strip would be light bar? Really hoping it's the latter.
Yeah for me the funny thing is I don’t care about high but would like B&O from luxe but not nearly enough to spend so much more.
My dream option list would be BD Mid plus heated wheel and homelink. Would deal with audio in the aftermarket but if B&O standalone under $1K Id do that too.
Right...
