    There has been some speculation that some below MSRP/invoice dealers are playing dumb with the current price protection/private offer to make up the difference in what they lose selling at those lower prices. They get their money eventually and the customer never knows.

    I just checked YouTube to see if maybe Long McAuthur posted anything. @FordVideoGuy is on the road to the St Louis Auto Show as of five hours ago so he might not even be aware.

    It makes sense that they won’t build anything with the Sasquatch package so they could use all of those bits for the Wildtrak, Heritage and Everglades. The most expensive and most limited models.

    Exactly what I speculated several posts back. Not only will they purge a bunch of backlog orders, they will only take easily buildable new orders. Just a total kick to the sac for so many that have been waiting a long time. But Ford has proven time and time again they don’t care if they piss off...

    Yeah I have no idea. But as I said a few posts back this could be a way for them to weed out even more orders to get through the backlog. At the expense of pissing off many current order and reservation holders.

    Oh I have no doubt. But there will be many that this is the last straw and say the hell with it. But plenty of people waiting who will take what they can get just to get a new order in.
