With this newest development it looks like the best option if you are adamant about getting the hard top and/or Sasquatch is to find one close to what you want in stock somewhere, and preferably at MSRP, and take the $2500 to buy an in stock. Iād do it sooner than later because with this...
Have to admit this thing was beastly. And the flares donāt look as obnoxious when you see it in person. The blue one next to it was a Base Sasquatch.
Had to look up the price while I was there.

So if you are willing to drop the constrained items will you get the $2500 as well as the current private offer money you might be entitled to?? Thatās the bigger question.
I can guarantee the new Colorado and Canyon will be very hard to come by for the first few years. And many dealers will definitely ADM the AT4X and ZR2 models. I inquired at a local dealer and they said GM isnāt even allowing my supplier discount on the new twins.
I am the guy below. LOL I canāt say Iām a big fan of the looks of the soft top. But it never bothered me enough to not try one. For me itās a comb of other factors. Itās not the most convenient for getting in and out of the cargo area. Any with a toddler knows this is quite a frequent event when...
You know it wouldnāt be a bad idea to just make the Bronco available as a soft top convertible vehicle only for now. It would lower the amount of orders and would also give them time to get this whole hard top debacle figured out. When it is 110% ready start offering a hard top option again.
Thatās called Bambi mode and I believe it can be done in FORSCAN. I remember years ago when I had a 2001 Focus. You could do the same by adding a simple jumper in the fuse box. Simpler times. lol
I will say this. I had my Gladiator for a year and a half and didnāt have one single issue. Not even a windshield crack after taking a rock hit. Iāve had numerous mechanical and electrical issues with my Bronco in three months as well as a cracked windshield.
Iām not willing to drop the hard top. And Iām also not willing to lose money either. So Iām more than likely out. I have a BD soft top that was supposed to hold me over until my other order got built. It will probably get sold and Iāll move on for now. Maybe Iāll revisit in 2029 when the Gen7...
The Wildtrak may end up being a true unicorn very soon. So prices could end up going higher. Iām all about not paying a dime over MSRP. But if itās what you want and money isnāt an issue I say go for it. But do it now. ADM on a Wildtrak could potentially double or triple in the coming months.
Thatās a reasonable interpretation. Another way I see it is future allocations are based on past sales. If Chapman pushes all of these customers with unbuildable orders to drop Sas, hard top and LUX to get built this year it boosts future allocations.
Just my take.
I said speculation because I donāt have proof or experiences with that situation. And if I had said it is actually happening Iād be getting bashed by a few people for posting something that may not be factual. Kinda like people pointing the accusatory finger at me for this thread. LOL
Youāll have to talk to the admins about that. They changed the original title of my thread as they do from time to time.
And Ashlie just followed up with another reply
As Iāve stated a few times I think they want to save all of the Sasquatch parts for the models that come standard with them. Wildtrak, Everglades and Heritage. The Wildtrak has always seemed to be the hardest to get built. So I would venture to say there are still quite a few sitting and...
How can I mention information that I do not have?? My OP was a direct copy and paste of the email I received. No ākey pointsā were left out.
Itās amazing the amount of people that want to shoot the messenger. Iām reporting what I was sent. As are many others.
