This headlights thing is such a marketing exercise. If Ford had called the base headlights "Bronco Retro LED" lights they could have charged more for them on the higher trims and put the "signature" lights on the cheaper trims as the "you bought a cheap bronco" option.
I think they both look...
I’m curious to know this as well. It’s usually easy enough to tell where 2H and 4H would be a good idea based on driving conditions. Having another clutch and automatic engagement seems like one more thing to go wrong, but maybe I just don’t understand the benefits.
At least in the Mustang it’s real engine noise pumped in through a sound tube. Removing that stupid thing was the most difficult “mod” I’ve done.
I like the utilitarian look of the steel wheels but they also give off a “beater car” vibe that doesn’t quite make sense on a $40k SUV.
Im conflicted, but easiest thing would be to keep the OEM steel wheels and replace them later if they rust or I end up hating them. I’m sure Ford’s aluminum...
2.7 since I will likely be trading in my Mustang and I'm already used to 400tq. The 10 speed is the first automatic transmission I've driven that didn't make me miss having a manual.
Outer Banks or Wildtrak is mall crawler trim, especially Outer Banks. The gearing is much lower than the other trims, comes with passenger rated road tires and a lot of superfluous cosmetic stuff like painted fender flares.
I'm not sure "mall crawler" really applies to GT cars like the M3 or...
If you look at photos, the weird part of that is the center rear tail light. It’s on a “stalk” so it can be visible with the rear tire mounted. Without that tire it will probably look very odd and I’m not certain it’s easy to remove.
About the same or a little better if your vehicle is in good shape. I’ve heard they’ll buy anything but they’ll auction off vehicles that are in bad shape. Good to excellent condition they’ll “certify” and resell directly, and they’ll pay out a little more for these.
I live in a part of Minnesota where we sometimes have 6+ inches of snow and go day’s without seeing a plow. If it really comes down to it I’ll push the transfer case button and switch from 2H to 4H
Look i might just be ignorant because I’ve mostly driven fwd coupes all my life. WhT advantage in...
I will probably just buy the bronco and if I’m short on cash I’ll sell one of my other vehicles on CarMax. Skip the trade-in and you remove one giant wild card from the purchase process
If you can’t customize headlights from Ford on the lower trims you’ll be able to customize aftermarket (either through Ford Performance or third party). With how modular the Bronco is, headlights is one of the worst reasons to upgrade to a more expensive trims.
I have a 2d Black Diamond on...
The comparison guide made it seem like you HAVE to select this if you get the 2.7, is that true? I really couldn’t care less about this feature after experiencing the selectable 4x4 on the Ranger.
