If you're worried about warranty, you can buy a tune direct from Ford Performance and keep the powertrain warranty. They are already offering this on the Ranger 2.3L (same engine): https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9603-REB
I have a Ford Performance tune (level 2) on my Mustang GT. It's...
yeah my 5.0 mustang is pretty sleepy at low RPMs, but it still slurps gas at a worrisome rate. I don’t think this engine would be that great for crawling or basically anything where you’ll need a lot of low end torque.
LED tail lights are probably cheaper to build at this point. They'd have to go out of their way to not use LEDs just to let everyone know that you bought the "cheap" Bronco.
Same, I like the standard lighting (looks more retro as you say) but like the outer banks / wildtrak grille. I’m sure the grille will be an easy swap though.
Yep, a good exhaust will complement the sound of the engine. But an engine that sounds like a lawnmower is not something you want to trumpet around. Kids do this with their Honda Civics and it’s always just cringeworthy.
I have the 2.3L in my Ranger and it’s a fine engine, but you really don’t...
Guessing you don’t live in Minnesota. When you get 8+ inches of snow and sometimes go for days without seeing a plow these are real concerns. I can scrape by (literally) in my Mustang for another winter but I just need something bigger and really don’t want to buy a unibody shitbox car on stilts...
Ford should frankly not have announced the reservation system if they weren’t able to deliver according to the timeline presented when they took peoples’ money. And then stealth-editing their website without notifying reservation holders made it worse. They could have announced and released the...
This is not the hard top headliner. The hard top headliner is a separate option.
The “High” package lists “Additional sound deadening” as a bullet feature (which wouldn’t even make sense on a soft top 4 door). So I think the question stands. What is this? Do they spray some insulating foam...
This is really dumb. My Mustang is no match for Minnesota winters. I was really hoping to get an SUV for this winter but the Bronco reveal made me want to wait. But now it sounds like we could be well into next winter before my order would even ship. I should probably just buy a 4runner and get...
My two cents is people are confusing this with a luxury SUV. But I don’t really have a dog in this fight because I’m getting the two door and have no kids.
I would rather not have the vents if it makes the truck easier to hose out without water getting stuck in the ducts.
Stupid question: is it possible to upgrade to the 2.7L and automatic transmission WITHOUT also adding the advanced 4x4? The comparison PDF makes it sort of look like a package deal.
