I got the same model. Took me a few times to get used to it. Also, I was lucky my first time as a guy was airing down next to me, and asked if he could show me how to utilize it in person! I still have the core thingy shoot out sometimes, hah.
On the contrary, if the end result is the same. All you are really doing is pressing one more button for camera view. Compared to if it has a dedicated button.
I auto engages when sitting. I had this a couple of times as well right after start-up. Then it never happened agian. No issues noted afterwards. Was at the dealership for the oil change and told them. However, it seems it had no residual DTC codes.
I've already been told one of my badlands standard wheels is bent enough to throw off alignment. I've never beaten it on or offroard. Seems pretty SUS.
Bizarre that it's not for the 3.0 or 2.3. Perhaps useful if you are running a tune. AS Ragnar stated the 2.7 is the one with dual injection to alleviate most issues noted with DI only.
With these appreciating in value the damage has to be massive to total. Source: Mine is in the shop, and may get a full new frame. That's still under 75% ACV. The damage is small, but was enough force in a small area to throw off the alignment it looks like.
Mine is currently in the shop after an old lady failed to yield, and ran into me while I was going 45 mph (caught on the front driver side of my steel bumper). Curtain airbag stopped my face from kissing my windshield. Bronco literally went through their front bumper like a battering ram. If I...
From what I've researched the difference between 4.46 & 4.7 is very minimal (~5% difference). Have to remember that lower trim levels have even lower gearing. Then it might become a conundrum; with the lower gearing on those types of builds.
Personally the 4.46 gearing on 33s is a little...
There are certain limits that they can sell a vehicle as new. At 399 that is far past the limit of any I know of. I wonder if that vehicle was utilized as a shuttle in the yard, but even then, that is excessive.
*Cries in Michigan insurance rates* Seriously though, insurance rates here are I believe some of the highest in the entirety of the USA. ~600-700 each for a Jeep Cherokee & Badlands Bronco. And that's with just now changing insurance carriers.
Edit: Thats 6-month rates
Pretty sure that's a lost cause once it happens. Thats why I did some stick-ons as my first mod for the center console, and door handle areas. I also have mounted tape with tire like treading on it in multiple places. However, I personally don't care about the trunk area scratches and scuffs.
@Mattwings Please post if you do get those springs. I was eyeing them as well (non-sas badlands specific ones), but also to offset a front bumper replacement & winch weight. Honestly, I think those crossmembers will just always be taking a beating. Was very surprised to see how low they hang...
Can confirm, got a scrape on my right rear shock plate. My ASFIR frame support arm skid plates are on the way (I have actual dents on the arms). My list is: ASFIR lower front arms protector (SKU 599657), ASFIR Gear crossmember protector (SKU 599662), ASFIR trailing arm protector (SKU 599658)...
Yeah, noticed that the kit stated aluminum, and just the arm skids as stainless steel. Either way, thanks for the pic. I have the ASFIR on order.
Down the road I plan to be adding the lower arm guards from ASFIR, trailing arm guards from ASFIR, rear diff skid from DV8, and the rear shock...
