While it is horrible what they did to the Blazer name, it's a nice looking vehicle.
Nothing beats the feeling of pulling up beside one and looking down to admire it from my Squatch.
This a great cheap benefit. I have a Bestop, and need to look and see if the same size insulation would fit mine just as well.
For further general sound insulation, I bought $80 (two yards) of 5mm wetsuit material (neoprene pad with fabric bonded to each side for durability). It will be my...
Nice. I never thought to file down with intentions of fitting a socket. That would be a great first step before my more agressive thought of making two long flats for a crescent. Would be way easier to ratchet/unscrew too, once broken free.
That's the number that Sasquatch came with from the factory. It will never stay perfect, unless you continuously play with the numbers as the tires wear.
True. I believe they are 34.4“ and Forscan says they are 2653mm, which equals 33.25“, which should be the approximate circumference of a bald Sasquatch tire. That's what got me thinking.
My Sasquatch tire circumference is listed in Forscan as being 1.2“ shorter than the advertised diameter of the tires. Does anyone know why? I guessed in another thread that Ford may account for tire wear and set the baseline as a completely bald tire?
On that note, the tires I added were .5“...
That's a tough spot for a stripped bolt head.
If it were me, and the non destructive methods don't work, I would take a big bastard file and spend a few minutes making new "flats" where a big crescent could grab it tightly and break it free.
Worst case scenario, cut the bolt head off with a...
There are a lot of votes for the RSE sliders, which are functional and come with good customer service (from what I hear), but you might want to read the group buy thread, there are some complaints.
The biggest complaint is that the 4dr version doesn't look like it fits correctly.. being about...
Strange. I just updated my tire size and have no alerts yet (after a few miles of testing). I have a Sasquatch with 34.4“ tires and upgraded to 34.9“ tires.
I noticed the circumference in Forscan equaled more than an inch smaller diameter than what the Sasquatch came with. Maybe Ford stays...
So I have a 22 Badlands and the latest Forscan,as of today.
My first attempt was something simple: Global window close to match my global window open.
Backing up modules went smooth, as did making the changes to PDM, DDM, and APIM, but any "write all" commands to BdyCM fail at 96% (including...
I just activated my trial last weekend and recieved my code. So that part works at least. Haven't used it yet.
I'm wondering what happens if I don't get to all of my needed changes before 2 Months is up.... Waiting to activate fogs until I make my mod and add them.
Thanks for the update.
I am pretty sure that my 2.3L's noise is MUCH louder now than when new, 1500 miles ago. It is not a rattle, but I can't quite identify it. Possibly exhaust leak.
It is hard to compare memory, but I recall praising the Bronco for how quiet it was when new. The engine...
I have the same results, but am also still breaking it in. I took an immediate hit of almost 1mpg according to the dash, but I'm hoping that is due to the extra .5" diameter of the Klever over the Squatch tire. Looking into adjusting the size via Forscan, if small adjustments like that are...
I am halfway through my installation and was able to unhook the crankcase line without removing the fender liner. It is possible, but will result in scratches and bruises on the forearm!
Definitely wouldn't have known where to look, though, without this guide. Thanks!
Now to figure out how to...
I've been trying to get this to work based on random instructions from Google but never could.
Yours was spot on and works. Apparently the single press, before pressing and holding, is what I was missing. Thanks!
The weird thing is that doing so caused my screen's backlight to flicker then...
When I finally wear out my Squatch shocks, you guys will definitely have your name on my suspension upgrade.
I was really impressed with your stuff on my previous vehicle!
I'm going to try the scrubbing bubbles. Great tip!
I saw one thread where some fenders looked stained, but after an application of the 303 Plastic Protection product, looked new again. I will be trying it on the interior as well.
The first time took most of a day, but I wasn't in a hurry. How "hard" the install is depends upon which method you use.
Dropping the LCAs (only) was pretty simple; until the very end when I was sore, tired, and trying to get them back in and torqued. I swore I'd never do it again at that...
I Can't speak to CAI in general, but the Bronco solutions I've seen all get their air from the same place the OEM airbox does.
I am definitely looking for any gains in power or mpg, but I will wait for real world data before I drop any cash.
