I had planned to add the regular steps to my new Braptor but most retailers state they would not work, so I am glad to see they will. I have installed amps on 3 different Wranglers and our Badlands and I agree the provided posi-taps are absolute garbage. After struggling on the first Jeep, a...
Patience pays off my friends! I just bought a B-Raptor for $20k under MSRP. My wife has pretty much parked her Expedition indefinitely and taken over our Bronco so the timing couldn’t have been better to add a B-Raptor to the stable.
The badlands steering wheel has padding under the cheap leather and I prefer a denser feel to a steering wheel. I made the assumption that the leather wrapped base wheel would provide the density I was looking for and it did.
I did not since I didn’t want my elbow to sink too much while driving but I do wish I would’ve added a small amount like 3/8”. 3/4” seems like a lot to me but maybe you’ll like it.
It’s not bad. Just be sure to dry fit it and outline the armrest on the underside of the leather (I used a white paint pen) before you spray it with adhesive, so the stitching lines up how you want.
They mail you the leather pieces. I paid for FedEx and received mine about a week after I ordered them. I then installed them myself. The boot took about 30 minutes and the armrest took about an hour but I am more of a wrench then an upholstery guy so it could be done quicker.
I have a 23 Badlands high package and the poor quality of the steering wheel leather drove me nuts, so after searching on the forums and online I found I could get high quality nappa leather for the touch points from @RedlineGoods . I purchased a base steering wheel and had redline install the...

Did you get the Falcons installed? If so, please share your impressions. I’m interested in how they perform on the Bronco before I burn $4k. I have Falcon 3.3s on my 392 and love the adjustability and ride.

UPDATE: SC sent a new harness that resolved the MAP error and the Bronco drives much better with the Pulsar XT. It’s now almost as fun to drive as my 392. But, unlike the 392 where you can mash the skinny pedal and grin all the way to 100 mph, the Bronco requires finessing the...
