UPDATE: SC sent a new harness that resolved the MAP error and the Bronco drives much better with the Pulsar XT. It’s now almost as fun to drive as my 392. But, unlike the 392 where you can mash the skinny pedal and grin all the way to 100 mph, the Bronco requires finessing the pedal to get the most out of it. I previously had a pedal commander and it made the Bronco shift very erratic on any mode over city+4, whereas the Pulsar XT on level 5 pedal+6 (the max settings) not only adds additional power but significantly improves throttle response while retaining a smooth shifting pattern. As a result, I highly recommend the Pulsar XT to wake up the Bronco.

I purchased the Pulsar XT from Extreme Terrain and was excited to enjoy these gains, but unfortunately no matter what I do I get a “P0106 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/ BARO Sensor Range/Performance” trouble code. So I called SC’s tech support and after being on hold for 20 minutes was told they have no reports of this error and would need a Master Tech to call me back which never happened. The Bronco runs fine when the Pulsar XT is not connected so the problem is with either the SC’s controller or the connector at the MAP sensor.

I’m am sorry to hear you’re having issues, this is not something I’ve heard of being a common problem with the XT. We are closed for the long holiday weekend, but this is absolutely something our team can help get to the bottom of. If we we have an issue with a harness or the module, we will absolutely ship you a replacement device at no cost to you.
