Mine went bad on the passenger rear side the other day. I think people slam it before the motor has time to go up and it gets caught outside the rubber seal now allowing a lot of wind noise.
I will have the dealer look at it, until then I am hitting the window button moving it down an inch...
"Mr. Slow" from Top Gear got a Stropp press car for a road trip in Texas. All in good fun, but he says "it sucks --S!. Ford should invite him to an off Roadeo.
There is an older thread on here with all the OEM part numbers for the factory wire harness, fuse box and 6 switch cover pieces and some Youtube how-too's. I will do that eventually too...one day.
Yup, your not getting an ice chest full of stuff on there or the door would come off, maybe a gas can or tents? I'm tall but not sure most people would reach above a tire. I have seen some hitch-baskets that swing out, but really that door choice with tire mount is on of the things I hate the most.
4 is better then 0, but doing the full thing with the three OEM parts and 6 switches is $600 in parts(someone posted all the part #'s in another thread) and this shortcut harness and 4 switches is $5 savings, but maybe less time to instal?
Someone is already selling this kit for $100 off...
Someone needs to find a better material to make this stuff with. Design is nice, Chinese steel weight is not. My HR full rack does not need to be 70+ pounds. Some CNC shop cold make a killing making these patterns out of aluminum bullet or something.
Now that the '26 Stroppe is 4door it might be the last of it's kind.
That said my dealer has had one for months at the front of the lot 0 miles they have not been able to sell yet because of sticker-shock. Most people don't know what it is, not understand/love the color combo and would rather...
I took my Ranger (pre Bronco) there a few years ago to that old mine and the mine museum. Fantastic gem of a town, well worth the distance from South Fork.
True, but Texas is just the appetizer, passing El Paso is like stepping through the Wardrobe to White Sands and beyond NM, AZ, UT, CO have magic and wide open nature on another level.
The Texas Hill Country and Big Bend counties are nice too. The natives use to say that the god of the sky swept...
I've done from San Antonio, TX to Great Sand Dunes and Zion, Wanted to get o Moab this year but won't make it. Great to see you going even farther! Everything is cooler outside of Texas, sadly.
