Hi @Granger Ford, this probably was already asked, and I haven't found it yet, but if ordering out of state (I'm in MN) through Granger, would I be able to make warranty claims to local dealers in the Twin Cities MN as long as they fell into the standard Ford factory warranty parameters? Not...
Those look a bit different from what's shown on Ford's website so not sure what to say there. But they do look like they retain the halo so maybe there's some kind of difference we're seeing between production and pre-production.
Depending on costs, I may have to drop the sasquatch on the Badlands, but excellent to know that you can get those beadlock capable wheel options for the original Badlands. Now... as for the cost of those optional wheels... that may be another issue. Would like more info on the "high clearance...
Has there been any commentary on the tailgate hinge material? I've got to think steel is the only way to go. Also would be curious of longevity of the hinges especially with the 35" on the back.
I've got to *assume* Ford had taken this into account but the prospect of the hinges eventually...
A little frustrating having to question if Ford's on documents are correct on such a huge rollout. That's a pretty big note for Ford to miss - especially because other options do note "w/ Sasquatch package". Did Levine confirm this or did you see it somewhere else?
Still catching up on this thread (page 28 of 35 and falling behind). But I believe the bigger M210 Dana's are available up front on the base. Now, I will caveat that Levine has been acknowledging errors on some of this material but it's there.
This is a question I have - you mention that you don't get the "upgraded off road stuff" on the Badlands I assumed w/ 43k base. How does the (relevant) standard Badlands package differ f/ the Sasquatch package? They both have f/r lockers, the bigger Dana axles, and the upgraded HOSS. From what I...
Yes, Sasquatch with a manual please.
Notice Mike's response to one questioner about just putting a lift and 35s for a aftermarket "Sasquatch". Well, the issue may be the fact that there's more to it than that. The Sasquatch package appears to be the only way to get the front lockers and the...
Nice touch on all the AUX switches, loving the beefy toggle design as well. The (good) problem I'm going to have is that the completionist in me will want all the switches to control something - Ford is probably going to have a field day w/ me in regards to accessories.
Could anyone confirm...
112" wide wheelbase would make for a sweet rollover-proof trim level. I mean, is Ford serious about this off-road capability business or what?
I just have issue with folks laughing at what they consider to be garbage posts when someone is taking the time to post reference images like the OP...
Dude, chill out - the guy was on "lunch break" and using a "best guess" based on several folks coming to a 112" wheelbase estimate based on all the mules we've seen. Did you read the original post? I don't think it was meant to be a comprehensive work. You're more than welcome to provide a...
Ford calling the FJ a "crossover" seems to be a bold move... Cotton (correction, if aimed at the Blazer). Sure it's just general information/marketing that we already know but, in addition to the Wrangler comment, the way Ford is posturing here hopefully means something.
Any "official"...
Ah, there you are. :) I'll be looking forward to the commentary - @ChrispyKC has been working alone here in the encouragement dept. Poured out a 40oz for you Chrispy. :) A SFA option would be nuts (and ideal) but I'm open to see what Ford does here. Portal axle option is probably...
I'd prefer SFA though SFA/IFS isn't the highest of my preferences but man, if Ford offers the option, that would (probably) be unprecedented. IFS likely would sell more but I'd have to imagine the appreciation the off road or overlanding communities would give Ford for that option.
Was looking back in the thread - still not quite sure what the May event is. Does it have something to do with the Bronco event you mentioned for April here?
Trying to fill my calendar for 2020. :]
Interesting, seems to conflict with the Bronco-R grille design as the "Bronco" script in that grille seemed to cater to a "C"-headlight shape that we see on the trucks. But this leaked light does look allot like the renders we've seen and does seem to push the EB look.
I'd prefer they move...
