I had to turn my "clip clop" down in Forscan as it annoyed people I would be talking to on the phone. Not quite sure why they have it so ampped up from the factory.
I am familiar with that, but look at the response I got recently (like this week) from them just to maybe set an expectation.

Hello,
Thank you for your recent contact with the Customer Relationship...
Already had ditch lights mounted using the JCR mount which has extra holes so I mounted my 6db whip antennae right there. Similar set up to @Arlo.Overland but i got rid of the Ghost antennae because it didn't work for a shit for me, the whip antennae is twice as strong, 6 v.s. 3 db.

I hope that is all it is. Check out my response to you I posted while you were typing this one. If you want to pm me I would be happy to give you my number to talk it through.
I know what you are experiencing as I experienced the identical thing. Mine started opening and closing so much I had to pull the fuse. It did it while the truck was parked in the garage, it did it while I was driving and turning off the kill switch didn't even stop it from happening. Again, I...
Maybe a stupid question at this point, but you said you took the screw out on the glove box side, did you take the screw out on the driver side? With them both out I just pull it straight off and haven't had issues in the past.
