Running the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 35x12.5r17 on factory Sasquatch rims on a Sasquatch Badlands.
No rubbing, even with the sway bar disconnected with a rear tire 2 feet in the air.
According to their site they are 34.6"
Oh, I wasn't aware that the HD springs would settle. That makes sense.
Thank you for all this info, I'm going to go talk to a local shop next week about getting them installed with the rear HD springs.
Thanks for that pic. I agree that 35's will probably look okay with the factory flares.
Is this pic with the HD springs and you're just loaded down?
The pic with the HD springs just looks like a lot of rake to my naked eye.
Are those 35's or 37's in those photos?
I'm really not a fan of all that empty space in the rear fender area. I only load up heavy for a few trips a year.
I would actually be curious to know the answer to this.
I just recently replaced my factory Goodyear 35s which was not cheap.
I'm curious if I could install the Fox 2.5 at their lowest setting without changing anything else. I feel like 2" of lift wouldn't make it look like it skipped leg day on...
I ended up going with the X-Rack and an awning thanks to @BroncoA512021 for the suggestion.
I did take this out to Big Bend and posted my results in this thread...
Reporting back....took this out to Big Bend where Baja mode was utilized.
I don't know what people consider high speed off-road to be, but 25mph-50mph on some rough roads and the mount and awning held up. Not to mention the 80mph speed limit plus 25mph gusts on the road trip portion.
Just installed today. It was a very easy install, the instructions were easy to follow. I had emailed back and forth with X-Rack support with some questions both before and after ordering and got reasonably responsive helpful answers.
I Installed an awning that weighs 22lbs, so under the...
Does anyone have pictures of Jerry rigging a tarp for the sake of shade or rain cover while camping with a soft top?
I know you "shouldn't" close your soft top with things sticking out so you don't wear down the weather stripping, but a tarp is pretty thin.
What I'm thinking is opening the...
They look bigger than OEM. With the butt dyno I can feel they're heavier tires but probably not nearly as much as 37's(she doesn't feel slow).
I would feel uncomfortable with them if I did not already have a tailgate reinforcement and this week I'm getting the BroncBuster bushing and tie rod...
I'm honestly surprised that more people don't run them.
I must say though I don't think Mickey Thompson does a lot of marketing, and my dealership straight up said they don't carry the brand.
Replaced the OEM Sasquatch Goodyears with a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT
Went with 35x12.5 r17.
Only 30 miles or so on them so far, so I can't give em a full review, but they look beefy.
I'm happy with the Roush. Gotten a lot of compliments on it from other Bronco owners at off-road parks.
It's one of the pricer options but it's 304 stainless steel.
I chose not to install the included Black tip which keeps the exhaust tucked up and out of the way of my departure angle.
These are great examples of the "Bronco Tax".
My solution is still more expensive than it probably should be, but I use the Deep Sleep with the leveling mat.

That moldy picture is going to haunt my dreams.
I think you can rent a dehumidifier from Home Depot. I've seen them used by car detailers on YouTube. You run it with all the doors and windows closed inside your vehicle for a set amount of time and it's supposed to suck moisture out of the air.
When you use it, do not screw it all the way in, get it finger tight and then back it out a turn.
Otherwise you won't be able to unscrew it when the door is back on.
Learned the hard way.
23k miles on mine. No complaints (other than the rock flinging like you mentioned).
I've been rock crawling, I've been sideways in the desert at speed, and I've driven over dunes at the beach.
I pulled up to a group of Jeeps running a few different types of top brand name tires on a wet and...
