Finally got to see it in person. In direct sunlight, I like the color. It brings out the yellowish part..
In shadow it is mediocre.
If I was getting a 22, I'd likely get it as it is a no cost option. I'd need to see it with the Grey trim pieces, though.
I finally tracked one down at a dealer clear across town. If the guy didn't have to walk across the entire lot to find them, I'd have gotten 2.
I checked it at around 1500 miles and just blew out a bunch of sand. This was after off-roading on 4 other occasions and another 3500 miles.
I'll...
MGV dictated what trim we were going to get: Badlands or Black Diamond.
I've had it for 5,000 miles. Sand, dust, rain, water and I cannot imagine having anything else. And it is durable - having vacuumed it up, rubbed on it, had heavier people sitting on it, puddles on it - it still looks new.
Yeah, it is such a rare color few know what it looks like.
I saw one a few weeks ago. It was pretty decent -probably the best of the grayscales with Carbonized a close second. Iconic Silver almost looks like Aluminum, for lack of a picture.

I don't hate it (and I hate stickers)...
Especially on an incline - or if someone bumps your truck in the lot.
Fun Fact:
So I tried out this "turn it on and the parking break disengages" 3 times. It never disengaged until I hit the lever.
You have to have the break depressed to disengage the parking break but definitely not a turn...
The vehicle is heavy and I'm not a fan of putting that much pressure on the transmission if I don't have to. Plus I have a steep driveway.
Breaks are cheaper to replace, after all.
Yes. It is annoying as hell.
I set it to its lowest setting. Recently I had to make an emergency stop/switch lanes and as I was doing so this idiotic squawking screech scared the hell out of me..
Definitely not a safety feature unless you drive around texting..
As I understand it, it detects...
Why the heck would he be griping about build dates when he has a Bronco?
You want to shake your head, you think griping about someone else is 'more worthy'?
