I was wrong about the Sasquatch wheel offset being +35. All written info pointed me to that, and when I saw the custom Method wheels with correct bore on the FP site, I figured Ford would make them identical to their OEM wheels. 🤷‍♂️
Now I'm wondering if the 5mm inset of the FP Method beadgrips...
Around here I hear the term "pin stripes". I have a few on my Bronco already. The gwagen had awesome thick paint, but still plenty of pin stripes even though it was noticeably narrower than the Bronco.
It's hard for me to judge the increase in width. There are plenty of trails wide enough for...
I think what happens is; a lot of the time the speed limit signs are placed where the speed limit changes so it appears the display in the dash is changing when the sign goes by. Rather, it is really reading the embedded data in the maps.
It makes sense the road dept would put speed limit signs...
I did some research and most came up with 35, but looking at pictures on Ebay for takeoffs, and yes, they are all ET30 like above.
Thanks for the corrections!
A net of 5" width increase is not bad for the lift you get from the portals. Not bad at all...
I should have clarified, 8.5 width +55 is what I was thinking I’d like to run on portals. It would save another ~1.6” in width over the Sasquatch wheels I have now.
ETA: I however keep looking at the Method bead grip as the wheel I want to run, so choice is limited. I’m glad the FP Methods...
Sasquatch wheels are +35.
I’d also like to know about +55 fitment, keeping the track as narrow as possible. I’m interested to see what’s can be done with the custom wheels, too.
Measuring acceleration, horsepower, and torque are objective ways to evaluate modifications.
e.g., 1/4 mile trap speed is a good metric for horse power. Horse power makes you go faster.
0-60 has no bearing on trail driving, so why did you bring it up? Same with long distance pro desert racing...
I’m not familiar with the special run wheels. I’d be surprised if they were different, but 5mm would seem hardly noticeable except to engineers and regulators.
I read on here Raptor wheels are +34. I know they are F150 bolt pattern; just another reference point.
That render is awesome! and...
The point you’re trying to make says a lot more negative about you, than those of us who like to drive our vehicles fast and modify them.
I want to drive fast in everything with wheels. Doesn’t matter if it’s a lawnmower or a Bugatti. It’s either in your blood or not. That’s why there’s race...
Sasquatch wheels are +35 offset and Ford Performance offers some Method Beadgrips in stock dimensions that I believe are not available through Method.

Blizzaks are great, bought a set of wheels for my previous Cayenne Turbo that came with them, but switched them out for Cooper AT's. I don't think Blizzaks would hold up well off road.
I was running Cooper ST/Maxx on the Merc. Great traction everywhere, but ice.
I don't drive enough in the snow...
Did you contact Icon about the not being able to clamp the boot?
I might not have either, but I'd probably be thinking about it every time I came across a mud puddle.
You made his point…
Technologists always tell us how wonderful and better off we’ll be someday in the future, as long as they get the money today.
Electric cars; 136 years in the making and most owners have an ICE car as backup.
I’d say the best part of electric cars is lower complexity and...
i think it was a 991. Maybe a .5, I don’t recall.
the issue was the price of a new engine or rebuilt engine starts at $30k.
he was lucky to have a dealer advocate for him and Porsche covered the repair.
It may not be a widespread issue, but it practically totals the car.
yeah, it looks like only ~12" of clearance under those mounts... \s
Ford should have tucked them closer to the tire, but at least they are not as bad as previous generation Colorado; spaced half way between the pumpkin and the tire...
stronger/boxed mounts should take care of the few times you...
