I check my drivers side every other weekend along with the bolts, and it has no cracks. It is NOT the boxed type, but the early open type.
Ford parts specifically says single use. This is why I'm thinking the factory stretched them, or maybe the shop did during install?
I can't see the...
Confirmation from Carli that they are not running a rear sway bar.
They are not using a trackbar relocation bracket.
Their rear upper links are offset like the factory links. My Icon links are straight.
I need some outside footage to see if what I feel inside is reflected in the body movement...
Re: Bilstein vs aftermarket 2.5 coil overs on stock sasquatch (@Bmadda )
My thoughts on street driving b/c I haven't done enough off pavement miles.
The stock Sasquatch shocks were very dramatic. Small fast hits, like potholes, felt jarring and stiff while slower motions, like cornering and...
I didn't mean to be 100% dismissive of solid joints causing more issues, just that abusing your bronco with the stock arms won't guarantee they won't break.
A couple more issues with replacement arms that could be factors in adding extra stress.
The stock upper rear arms are offset; I've seen a...
The only 12.5 40's I found are competition spec BFG's. Expensive and not road legal. :(

Or, it could be owners who put in aftermarket arms are more likely to push the chassis in a punishing way. I see a lot of Bronco videos/pics of jumping and high speed off road running. If you're going to drive that way you're going to bend and break things.
If you're concerned about broken...
Unrelated trivia, Mercedes engineers fitted portals to an e class wagon. Most likely testing portals on ifs for the upcoming (at the time) redesigned g class. It would have been cool if they offered it for sale.

No. LeTech built them, but I don’t recall if I ever came across that information.

Bill Rader is the US distributor. He might have posted pictures.

He is the guy who offers the portal axles and CTIS...
Great guys. I’m always happy with their work. I had them put on a full Icon setup. They marked all the bolts which makes it easy to check them. Maybe all good shops do that?
They also did the goose gear plate and tailgate table for me.
On the Mercedes they put on spring spacers and tires, but...
This was an issue for early bolt on portals I read about when researching for the Mercedes. It was the sustained highway speeds that heated up and destroyed the portals.
It was a concern of mine but (as posted above) there are many such trips on the 74weld portals. It’s also reassuring they are...
Forged wheel developed for racing. Yeah, expensive. :(
"A 17” diameter wheel designed for extreme Motorsport applications. The Method Race Wheels 207 wheel expands the desert focused race wheel lineup combining the strength of forged aluminum with Method's patented Bead Grip® technology...
Not inexpensive, but quality and American made:

I don't know if these would clear, but I found these Method beadgrips with a 45mm offset and 39x12.5 tires. We've seen 55mm offset wheels, but I'm a fan of the Method beadgrip tech.
I'd want to see them mounted, but I think tall/skinny/narrow/machined combo would look good on the retro lines of...
don't do extra work on behalf of me.
sorry you guys have to deal with my OCD/mental illness :)
Judging by the look of the tire, i'm going to guess they are 12.5 width, so 37x12.5r17 on the Sasquatch wheel.
The good news is ford performance says both wheels are suitable for overlanding!! 🤪...
Looks great!
I believe your 37's are mounted on the Badlands optional beadlock capable wheels? What is the width of the tires?
