Thats probably a personal preference. I actually quite like it on the new F150 because it's far away and off to the side more, but in the Bronco its closer to your face. Some people will probably find it distracting.
It's really hard to get sense of the size of the 12in pictures, I was quite shocked when I saw it in person. It looks like someone stuck a tv on the dashboard. I actually thought it was quite distracting, but I also hate that cheezy looking ring around the 8in screen.
I think its really a brilliant marketing strategy by Ford. Most non enthusiasts seem completely confused by it and think the sport IS the Bronco that everyone is talking about. My local dealer has sold 46 already, most within a few days of delivery. It's a nice little CUV and all, but without...
If you thought the wranglers steering was sketchy before, you haven't tried it with almost 500Hp! The pricing probably has to account for all the payouts from the resulting lawsuits.
I'm working with Aly and she has been great. Responds very quickly to emails (10-20 minutes) and judging by what I read on here knows a lot more about the Bronco than most salespeople.
I'll say the heated steering wheel is far less important with the remote start. My truck now doesn't have it and my previous two did, but with remote start it's already nice and toasty by the time I get in there. Not saying I wouldn't like it, but it dosent add that much value to me. Also from...
No, and I don't think we'll get a reliable answer until they go into production, but this is the 3rd BB I've seen now with LED tails, so I'm getting hopeful.
I gotta say the BB has the nicest grill. It's got that modern retro look like the rest of the Bronco. Badlands is nice, but a bit aftermarket looking. DB/base I like the look of, but sometimes it just looks cheap.
I apologize on behalf of everyone from Detroit and the surrounding areas for that hat. For some reason a large number of the youth around here like to pretend they are from rural Texas, not one of the largest Metropolitan areas in the NORTH. It's very weird, and I primarily blame Kid Rock for...
I have no clue about Fords mexican operations, but when I worked for GM the Silao Facility was notorious for silly stuff like this and they could never get it under control. They had dedicated, hard working employees, but there are just cultural differences there. If they were low on bolts it...
I somewhat doubt it. The potential cost vs the advantages over a manual disconnect dont make a lot of sense for an aftermarket component. Disconnecting manually is a minor inconvenience and I cant think of too many trails off the top of my head where you would "need" to reconnect.
It does depend on the specific tire, but I think you can drastically improve the BD's looks with something else. IMO it looks pretty bad with the stock tires. The BB and OBX look like mall crawlers with stock rubber, and that's fine, there are mall crawlers everywhere so they dont look weird...
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like we are going to figure this out before its released. I will say in the automotive engineering world "IP" refers to where the instrument cluster is located. The gauges themselves are usually referred to simply as a "cluster". My 3 theories are.
1. They are...
That is a sensationalist article and title by autoblog. This happens with almost every new vehicle launch and for every manufacturer I've worked for, GM, Ford, FCA, Toyota and Hyundai-Kia. When the 2019 Silverado/Sierra launched we had the same thing. Some software and trim did not make it in...
I'd be very surprised if they were aluminum. That's why I dont really care if they are the HD plates or not, I intend to go aftermarket aluminum either way.
I live in between two lakes and it's very foggy in the mornings. I will say the stock led fogs probably have too cool of a color temperature to be useful. On my F150 they actually make it harder to see as they just illuminate the fog. They are really just for aesthetics as far as I'm concerned.
I've seen 6 so far, but one I think was the same one twice, and another was two driving together. So 4 sightings in 5 months. Not great actually. If your just driving around I think you have a better chance in the Plymouth, Novi, Brighton areas, as that's where most of the engineers live, and...
