Google AI "what gear to run a dyno in?"
AI Overview
For most vehicles, you should perform a dyno pull in 4th gear, as it is typically a 1:1 direct-drive ratio. This gear provides the most accurate power reading with the least parasitic drivetrain loss, while allowing the engine to sweep...
.... lol, if a DYNO only measures TORQUE, it doesn't know what the driveline gearing is...
Here maybe you'll get it this time.
Same testing on the same mustang, NOT in a 1:1 gear ratio⦠BUT in a different gear- TQ Multiplication⦠and NO the 2.3L ENGINE is not making 840 pounds of TQ
WHY...
⦠:teehee:
some referred to it as āknee-iesā. And why no one wanted a short shifterā¦. (Throw or length)
and a missed shift was okay. (If you didnāt get an elbow)
⦠Well when itās on itāll pull harder at each speed. But yes still need better mapping to turn it on more often.

you do have to open the oil fill cap so it breathes
If you read the fine print... neither changed the frontal area... just made them thicker,
Once the air entering the front is heated, it's not going to absorb any more heat ;^) no matter how thick the additional IC is ... law of thermodynamics

They both are coated [powder coating?] that will reduce there ability to cool... OEM for stock engines
Hope @Beach_Bum old post about a Ford hidden winch comes true cause ford will need a different intercooler and placement ... maybe a better one for the RTR...
⦠people with inboard boat motors know thereās a simple hose that does the trick. Mercury Marine sells a hose. Or just build your own. Mine will drain right next to the oil filter channel.
