  1. Adaptive cruise control - standalone option?

There are a reasonable number of people that don’t like adaptive cruise if you check the interwebs. Also the quality of the implementation varies quite a bit if you go by professional reviews.
  2. Bronco6g Build & Price Planner Spreadsheet

Nice addition North7. This thread really should be a sticky. I’ve linked your spreadsheet at least 3 times in other threads where people had questions.
  3. Adaptive cruise control - standalone option?

I don’t see a standalone package that looks like it would have it but I just did a quick scan. This is a great spreadsheet put together by North7 from earlier info. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco6g-build-price-planner-spreadsheet.3407/
  4. Adaptive cruise control - standalone option?

Well that is a positive. Hard to believe but as recently as the 80’s you could still get individual standalone options like heavy duty radiator, alternator and battery on even something as lowly as a Cavalier. The options back then were pick what you want with few restrictions.
  5. Adaptive cruise control - standalone option?

I doubt it. You can check to see if Ford offers it standalone on other vehicles to get an idea. I don’t think it is standalone on F-150 and I don’t think most manufacturers offer it stand alone.
  6. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

Thanks for the thorough explanation. I’ve never driven a vehicle with the 10 speed. Several of those things seem very annoying. Do you normally drive aggressively or more laid back?
  7. Adding/changing Items a la carte AFTER PURCHASE & drain plug differences?

Iā€˜m throwing my hat in the ring on drains: Passive and Active are pretty self explanatory — Passive requires no activation/intervention, Active requires intervention/activation. We know Active drains are an upgrade (they are included in addition to passive drains). Passive drains are likely...
  8. POSSIBLE Allowable and Excluded Options per Trim Level

I think the pricing likely confirms that is actually the way they are equipped, but agree, very odd.
  9. Is this partly why the Manual is not available for the 2.7L Engine?

What didn’t you like about the 10-speed?
  10. No manual with 2.7L in 2021

That seems unlikely. Everyone is dropping manuals, they are almost gone from sports cars. Manual take rates on everything (including Jeeps) continue to decline. If they were going to do a V6/manual sure seems like they would have done it from the get go. I think the primary reason a manual...
  11. Upgrading 8 inch screen to 12 inch screen in aftermarket

Both the 8 and 12 are running sync 4 so that may make the larger screen plug and play.
  12. Upgrading 8 inch screen to 12 inch screen in aftermarket

I bet $2k to start off - retail from dealer. With some time, should be places to get them cheaper. I personally wouldn’t want to go aftermarket.
  13. Upgrading 8 inch screen to 12 inch screen in aftermarket

The 8ā€ looks like it has a bezel over it in the photos I’ve seen so it’s presumably in the 12ā€ hole. That makes sense, versus producing 2 different dash fascias. The 12ā€ in prototypes has a very clean look that I really like. Wonder what a 12ā€ Ford screen will cost from dealer or other supplier?
  14. Jim Hackett Retiring October 1st; Jim Farley to Take Over as CEO

Probably seldom if ever true in auto industry and also probably not the way it plays out anywhere when it’s the COO taking over.
  15. Everyone is happy about the frameless doors, and I dont know if we should be

Looks like they are options at least on most trim levels — ā€œallowable vs includedā€ on the spreadsheet below. I didn’t check every trim level but even OB doesn’t include them. They are included on FE https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco6g-build-price-planner-spreadsheet.3407/
  16. Big Bend Bronco Thread

Unfortunately, it apparently does not. There are real Mustang Mach E pictures of Carbonized Grey and it doesn’t look anything like that.
  17. Big Bend Bronco Thread

For those not sure what is on the different trims (and likely option availability) there are several threads (in addition to the Ford site) that can help. This spreadsheet by North7 is probably the most user friendly. Lot of good detail here...
  18. Big Bend Bronco Thread

8ā€ is standard on the Base. Every Bronco has at least an 8ā€ screen. There is no smaller screen. All the equipment shown on the Base is on the BB, so read the base eq and then add on the items shown as being part of BB trim.
  19. Ford Policy Update: You Can Only Change Your Bronco Dealer ONCE

I’m pretty sure there is exactly one dealer in the USA offering a better deal than Laura on highly optioned Broncos. I’ll stick with my ā€œseems like a great choiceā€œ wording for Laura Ford — $2,000 below most every other dealer is significant. Not everyone is going to buy a Bronco from Granger...
  20. Packaging Prices

I think this is pretty unlikely. Launch/First Editions have become pretty common in the industry and they tend to be fully loaded (but with nothing significant that is unique) with little or no price premium (which makes sense cause you’re not really getting anything extra). If you look at...
