Wranglers prove your point to an extent - but itās a function of demand - not that body on frame is so much more robust than unibodies (for their intended uses). Bronco has most of the electronics/computers of an Explorer and will be just as subject to parts availability of such...
I agree, you have to really value either: 1) off road capability 2) convertible (unique in SUVs) or 3) style/image; to buy a Bronco or Wrangler.
They are poor values compared to other choices on most other metrics such as refinement/equipment, particularly given the incentives on many other...
I didnāt specify, but I was referring to the two door. That is the one they wanted to get under $30k.
I agree that base 4 dr isnāt quite as attractive from a pricing standpoint but it does have auto transmission standard and is price competitive with Wrangler.
No Bronco is cheap ā you can...
Absolutely. We are incredibly fortunate Ford is offering a Base with a long list of standard features (push button start, Apple CarPlay, Cruise, PW, PL, etc.) at a price to value ratio way better than any other trim.
BB is $4.8k more for $2k-$3k more content.
Guarantee that Base prices will...
Just go to the Ford FAQ. Question didnāt need to be asked (and cause additional confusion) because the answer is known.

This spreadsheet shows interior colors by trim as well as lots of other option information. For some reason few people seem to know these threads/information exists. Itās from the website leak. Very likely that B&P will show same when it is up...
Manual should be std on both, that is maximum flexibility for the buyer. Youāre not getting auto transmission cheaper just because itās standard.
Correct. Auto std on base 4dr; Manual std. on base 2dr.
Pre-prod and demos are not the same thing. Pre-prod canāt be sold and wonāt be made available for general public to drive. And there will be no where near 6,000 pre-prod Broncos.
This. Every dealer will get two demos (eventually). This is established fact from dealers on the forum.
However, it doesnāt make sense that Ford is going to produce 6,000 (3,000 Dealers x 2) demos by Dec and then shut down production for a few months before starting up again to produce...
Consensus is there is no glass in the door - period. Effectively a fancy tube door. Not a production option but an accessory. There is a thread somewhere that discusses it, along with peoplesā guesstimates on pricing.
CR data shows otherwise, although JD Power, as cited earlier says no difference. Both are good sources for reliability information.

He makes 3 statements that arenāt opinion or known fact at that time. Are they true or not?
1) Bronco drives like a Ranger - Unknown but Iād say unlikely given the many differences. Certainly no one from Ford is ever going to publicly confirm that.
2) There will be White grill/top options -...
Someone here said a Ford test driver told him that. Some of the other info that ātest driverā passed along turned out to be incorrect. I donāt remember what exactly - something with option availabilty that seemed odd, to me, for a test driver to know about in the first place. I canāt find...
See this spreadsheet (leaked website) for the extensive selection of soft tops/Bimini tops, etc. that will presumably be in the B&P when released.

Go here to see interior colors by trim from the website leak. And have (almost) all your other option availability by trim questions answered. Good bet youāll see the same when B&P is up.
