That isn't the issue. The flange on the nut needs to go behind the black piece but there isn't enough room. I've tried taking the door apart to find a different angle....but I don't want to get to the point of no return. I may have to take it in to the dealer.

I got my bronco home. Shocker, still making the noise. Time will tell how long it will be before the replacement arrives. I don't feel so bad any more as another fellow bronco owner was dropping off their bronco after a catastrophic failure. He had to have it towed in! Warning lights blaring...

I got it checked out because a transmission should not sound like a blender! Maybe there are a bunch of rocks in the gear box?

I'm unsure....I'm going to pick it up from the dealer on Monday. I think it is better off sitting in my driveway than their lot. If it was an easy fix I'm "sure" they would have figured it out. Who knows?

Cat, I did the rodeo in Vegas last year, tons of fun. Be sure to get there early and request the one 2 door they have. I went with a buddy and he really wanted it because that was he still has on order. We both end up with 4 doors and still had a blast!

Make sure you have all the bolts! I called DV8 about my install issues, and they said that there should have been nuts for the bumper install bolts. Its a two man job as well. I have an old wooden chair that fit under the bumper to hold in place instead of holding up on my own that seemed to...
