@JcrOffroad I'm just beginning to mount accessories to the rack. What brand/type accessories are the holes (with specific layouts/patterns) on top of the rear "hoop" intended for? I noticed that my Rotopax mount doesn't fit any of those holes, but it does on the side. Quickfists, of course...
Bronco & Donuts at Red's Donuts in Seaside came and went, with 8 rigs attending, and mostly new faces - excellent. I bought just enough donuts for everybody, including the seagull which stole one out of the box just as I was leaving - the box was open and sitting on top of my hood; I'm glad...
Looks like I'll be departing earlier, as it takes up to 45 min. from Aptos to Red's. I'll wait for a few minutes at 8:15 AM at the interchange for anyone who wishes to caravan down with me.
If anyone wishes to caravan down to Red's Donuts from Santa Cruz, meet me at the Hwy 1./Freedom Blvd. interchange at 8:30 AM tomorrow morning, otherwise, see you at where the donuts lie!
CENTRAL COAST BRONCOS - Broncos & Donuts This Saturday.
A month came and went fast, since our last (and first) donut run in Santa Cruz. We're meeting again this Saturday at Red's Donuts in Seaside, at 9 AM.

I had initially hoped to run Old Coast Road...
Here's what my Ford drawer looks like; I have the factory cargo cover over it, which is big enough to prevent objects from falling into the three inner side crevices. The dog's heavy Kong toys end up in front of the drawer, by the gate, though.
Just installed the side mounts and rear cross bar; I'm leaving the rest (platform) for later. My current priority is to mount a hi-lift, shovel, traction boards, and Rotopax onto this rear-only setup - not all will fit!
It took me about two hours to get this far, with lots of time spent...
To secure it, you might consider drilling some holes in the four corners, and tie it down using the four trunk-floor mounted latches. relocate the cargo mat to the top of the drawer, and voila!
Yup, I'll be testing it out in 4L - I'm pretty sure that's why I couldn't get the FR locker to activate.
Being deluged with lots of rain these days in Northern CA, I put the Bronco in Sport mode today, triggering 4A - boy was it fun, and no detected slippage on the wet pavement anywhere! it...
Great resource with the tables, thank you. It's curious, though, that the table indicates the FR Lock as available for locking in Mud/Ruts mode; in fact, I haven't been able to activate the FR locker in that Mud/Ruts mode, and have had to resort to the Rock Crawl mode for locking FR - is the...
Thanks for the heads-up, Andy, I'll be sure to scout the trail a day or two before our planned trip. Nice photo of the truck! The trail seems to be in good shape, despite the recent rains. Where are you based in the Bay Area?
I'll grab a photo when I next get a chance. In the meanwhile, more detailed photos of the system as currently set up on my rig:
The first two photos show the JCR camera relocation kit installed/working well, as well as a Yankum fairlead (the metal eye will be replaced by a spliced line eye in...
