Soo.. what is it?
I mean, I like 3 seconds of BBL Drizzy (can't believe I'm typing that) as much as the next guy, but having an idea of the product would be cool.
I would say 34 is the max. Here is full lock front and rear clearance with 285/75 at base height. Any larger diameter and I would be wondering about mud clearance issues personally.
Front (second pic) is closer than rear.
I am currently in Sandusky Ohio for a convention and I will be returning to Northern Michigan on Friday. Does anyone have a Black Diamond Grill that they would like to sell along my route?
Willing to come directly to your house to pick up, within a 20-30 min detour from this route.
Could also...
Agreed, if Ford chose Boxwood over Area 51 as one of the launch colors that would have been my choice.
Too bad Ford and all of the other manufacturers are scared of green :/
I started with 255/75r17 stock Big Bend tires @22.8mpg. After the new 285/75s I am at 20.6mpg.
I do have the 3.73 gears which I think makes the mileage hit from the larger diameter tires more pronounced.
I know that @Scott M saw a 1.5-2mpg drop going from stock BD to these, and he has 4.46...
My biggest wish is for them to keep it the same. We are too caught up in the "it's been 4 years time for a new design" rat race.
Ford should focus on improving the quality, but keep the platform, body panels, interior, drivetrain, etc the same. Just keep making the same truck until NHTSA...
My brain just assumed it was like a big rock formation "tower". This is a neat landmark and should be re-erected, but not nearly as significant as it sounded.
Got new shoes put on the bronco!
Toyo Open Country AT3 285/75r17s on takeoff Black Diamond steelies. No rub lock to lock on level ground, and none that I've noticed in the mild offroading I did on the drive home.
One step closer to a "Big Diamond" build, and I'm lined up to buy a Black...
I have never heard about this before. Do you think a vehicle would benefit from this after a tire size change?
I already adjusted the tire circumference via Forscan but some things feel a bit weird. I do have 3.73 gears and got 285/75r17 (33.8") so I'm not surprised it feels different, but one...
This is exactly what I needed to hear, I relearned the AWD and there are only the two DTCs and no errors on the dash. Based on the relearn instructions I'm good to just clear those correct?
Hey, I was trying to change my tire size, I changed the value and saved the new size and then needed to do the relearn on the PCM and TCM modules.
Did the PCM relearn and it says it is successful, but now I have unreadable DTCs for PCM,PSCM,AWD,SODR,SODL,OCS,RCM,PAM, and IPMA
I also don't see...
I'm sure that could be done if you are willing to go from a 21gal tank to something closer to 18-16gal. Obviously that would result in a decent range reduction.
There does seem to be a decent amount of space on the opposite side of the truck if someone got fancy with packaging space.
