My thought is that the line-x would act similar to resealing an RV. The old layer can delaminate, but the new seal holds it together as well as preventing water intrusion to the (in this case cardboard) inner structure.
My top has only slight delam/uneven layer on the roof, but I'm watching it...
Lol I feel that so much!
I always feel better about damage taken on the trail. Drives me mad when I accidentally bump the paint with my belt buckle or metal zipper from my jacket.
IMO, wire insulation on a $40-$90k vehicle is the last place we should be looking to improve sustainability. These vehicles will last for years.
Soy based plastics would be a welcome change for single use plastics that are used once for maybe a month (the time it sits on shelves) and then gets...
Do you think you could measure the diameter of these tires for me? Planning to run this exact combo, but I've heard that the Toyos run a bit smaller than other brands. Maybe that is how you can run them without crash bars removed?
That's what I figured. Mine looks fine other than some faint honeycombing on the top, but I figure I'll bedline it matte black if cracks start showing.
I notice them and make a mental note when I see new ones, but it is far from first priority.
I need to clay bar all of the brake dust/rust speckles off the paint first.
So I'm I SOL if I have a 21' and missed the first replacement program? My bronco now has 45,800 miles on it so it is past BtB coverage.
When the replacement happened it was still a Ford company vehicle and we didn't plan on hanging on to it so we missed the window.
Not to mention that the base spec bronco went from 30k to around 50k for the closest option.
Glad I got the deal I did, or I would be priced out of this awesome vehicle!
Webasto makes Jeep tops too, not very many suppliers in that market.
Seems crazy that they can make Jeep tops for years but a Bronco top has to be made by a magician for it to function properly.
(I'm just glad my super early MIC 1.0 isn't showing any cracks)
I don't think I have seen anybody do a silver grill, but I would love to see it. IMO to make it look right the border needs to be body color.
Would make for a very unique bronco!
Yeah, slight regerts on some of our ordering decisions
No AUX and no rear locker.
Originally we didn't plan on buying this model, but we fell in love
I guess I'll still plan to install the OEM option, as it seems pretty plug and play other than trim panel removal.
I'll take a few photos later today. The clips I was having issues with were at the leading edge where the cowl meets the hood and they are a hook style clip that clips toward the front of the vehicle.
But I'm not sure the issue you are having would be caused by those.
Adding to what others have said, once you rip the music you can add songs to Spotify that don't exist in their database. Look up "Spotify Local Song Storage".
That would allow you to shuffle, select particular albums, etc rather than just an ordered list.
How much do you have into this setup? I have a bronco without AUX switches and my plan has been to retrofit the OEM option, but if this is cheaper than the ~$600 to do that I would change plans.
