I was one of the pre-order group and he made good on the comment in the thread. Not sure if they are still available.
I went back and forth on that decision :) I got the driver side because the tailgate can swing out farther than the Kuat and I thought maybe that could cause a problem. In my mind I was also envisioning using a cooler in the hitch basket as a table/counter but I never do that. It still works for...
I use this with my hitch basket:

It also pushes the basket out a bit more so the tire doesn't get in the way.
The tent actually takes up a big amount of space once you take it out of the original packaging. I don't see how they get it back in there...

If I try sitting up straight under attic tray, I hit my head. If I am under bimini top, my head touches bimini top. Without the bimini top, my head would not hit anything. I am 5'8". Hope that helps.
You still have access to the under floor storage, but with the drawer at its lowest setting like I have it, it doesn’t open all the way. I am still able to access jack and I can fit skinny items like the TD tie rod repair kit and other seldomly used but good to have things under there.
I have the D6 and Rekgen combo. No rock issues and step is wide to make getting in and out easy.

I'm not completely sure since I don't have one, but I think if the soft top was propped up, it should hold about the same. The glass on the hard top is not that strong of a lift.
After 7 months, I finally finished my "Car Camping build". Not quite a full overlander, but good for a few days off-roading and sleeping in the back with an attached tent. Needed to make it both rugged and as comfortable as possible for the wife and I. With a 25 month wait for the Bronco, I over...
