  1. Alignment specs for BD with SAS coil overs?

Putting Badlands sas coil overs on a Black Diamond non-sas. Would the Alignment specs still be Black Diamond non-sas?
  2. Carplay / Android auto issues - a survey

It used to happen more often, but only occasionally now. The screen glitches and gets blocky. I can't use it again unless I turn off the vehicle and restart or turn off the phone and restart it. Also won't connect sometimes and I usually need to restart the phone to get it to work again.
  3. How to run wires with duel A pillar lights?

Interesting. I have not seen it run how you have it in that photo. Before the second light mine was routed like this image has it. It fit fine and let the cowl sit flush.
  4. How to run wires with duel A pillar lights?

Maybe the newest harness tubing is too thick and I need to replace t with something like heat wrap.
  5. How to run wires with duel A pillar lights?

I already have a pod light on each A pillar and routed it next to/behind the cowl. Worked fine. I am now adding a second light on each side with a duel mount bracket. With both lights there is too much wire now. The valance and the mirror arm cover can't get back to a point that I can bolt them...
  6. Tapping into parking/DRL lights

Old thread, but it came up when I searched for the topic so I thought it might be good to update it. I'm sure you are well past this now but for others... I believe that is not the correct wire. The photo looks like it is driver-side "LF" and the location looks wrong for something going to the...
  7. Brake warning light

Mine had a code stored. It actually came back on for me again a week ago. I'm sure for oil and recalls, so I'll have them check it again.
  8. Adding SAS suspension and 2" lift to non-sas BD?

It is my daily driver, though I work from home so it doesn't get a lot of use during the week. I use it to tow a pop-up when I camp, and I have done a decent amount of offroading with it along with occasional events. For now I am staying with the stock BD tires (32s), but by around spring next...
  9. Adding SAS suspension and 2" lift to non-sas BD?

Hmmm, so 2" lift is not a good idea along with the SAS coil overs. 3.1" total. Thank you.
  10. Transmission crossmember braces - improve or remove?

Came across skid plates for these today. RCI Off Road
  11. Adding SAS suspension and 2" lift to non-sas BD?

I have coilovers taken off a '23 Badlands 4DR w/SAS that I'm going to put on my '23 Black Diamond 4DR w/o SAS. From what I have read this should work as-is and not create problems. I'm considering getting a 2" lift to add at the same time; something like the RC version. This seems like it...
  12. BD rims with SAS tires?

It looks like the BD stock rim is 17x7.5 and Sasquatch is 17x8.5. The stock Sasquatch tires are Goodyear territory M/T. Specs indicate that the Sasquatch tire is 8-11" rim size. Assuming my numbers are correct, this would mean the stock BD rims will not work with the stock Sasquatch tires, is...
  13. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

That is a pretty good description. First time I had minimal traction front right and both rear due to mud. The front left had a smallish rock behind the tire. Second time both rear tires were in the air about an inch from the berm, the front right I am not sure, and the front left in mud/mixed...
  14. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

Both times the front dif broke it was when going forward after reverse.
  15. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

Be as "harsh" as you want, I need to figure this out and I lack years of experience many others have. In both cases it was my fault I got stuck, not arguing that fact. I should have scouted the downhill before attempting it, especially with it being a trail not recently used. While I could see...
  16. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

Correct, no 4A. I was not aware of the BD axle situation, I'll keep that in mind.
  17. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

I've gone through 2 FDs at this point, and I want to figure out if I am doing something I shouldn't when trying to get unstuck. First time: Wooded trail, stopped halfway down and realized we shouldn't go any further and needed to back out. The trail was mucky, and a lot of water was being held...
  18. Tailgate paint rubbing off where it meets the glass.

No. I had the same issue, but me PPE worse out before it started removing paint. You should be able to see space under the glass sill all across it when closed. Body shop was able to adjust my door down somehow and it no longer rubbs.
  19. Does your tailgate brush the window when you close it?

Ford did fix this for me as a warranty item. I don't have exact details on what they did, but it had something to do with adjusting the hinge/mount point for the tailgate. I am guessing they took the tailgate off and found a point where they could slide the hinge-body mounting area down some...
