Similar issue it sounds like. With mine, the horn only sounds when someone opens the door. I assume it is checking when a door opens and then when it doesn't find the key, it assumes it is out of the vehicle and triggers the horn.
At seemingly random times I get the warning that the key is not in the vehicle despite it being in the vehicle. I also will sometimes shave the double horn sound for when you leave the vehicle with the key while it is running, when in fact the key is still in the vehicle. Has anyone else seen...
So I had a hitch installed which mandated that they detach the rear bumper. Since then I have noted there is only one recovery point (drive side), and I can't remember if it originally had two and maybe they forgot to put the second one back? 2023 Black Diamond, 2.7, non-squatch, 4 door.
From what I've read, if you have the tow package it enables an option in sync 4 nav to input that you have a trailer and it's size. It then is supposed to route you knowing that and attempts to avoid areas difficult for your configuration.
I just had the trailer company install my raptor receiver along with 7 pin and a brake controller. The main thing I want is for the navigation to let me to add a trailer for routing. Can this be added with just forscan edits?
It looks about even in that respect. The location it rubs happens when the area behind the tail light reaches the window. Once the tailgate moves the window enough to get past the lip, it closes ok after that.
What I have noticed though is there is something not right on the passenger side tail...
Wondering if this is normal or a potential issue. When I close the rear door, it rubs against the bottom of the window frame. If it was a soft gasket or something, I'd be less concerned, but this is a pretty solid plastic in that area. The PPF guys actually trimmed the film in this area because...
Wait a minute.. they actually will repaint as a warranty service?
I have an ugly blemish line on the driver-side back door almost from the door handle down to the wheel well.
I haven't been able to get into the shop to get my dealership's opinion, but I have taken a few videos to document exactly what it looks like. I've also tested it and timed it. Happens after 20-50 seconds in the three highest settings, including the quickest intermittent setting. May also occur...
Just happened to me today. 2023 BD 1,300 miles. Normal mode or fast mode it would slow down and get slower and slower until I turned it to another mode and then back. All in heavy sleet and rain as well as regular sleet and rain. Went on like this a good hour, then ok for 20 minutes, then back...
I am looking at a Rockwood A122S. UVW is 2120 and Hitch is 284. I believe that is the dry hitch number. If I was to fill both propane bottles (37x2) and add 2 lithium batteries (26x2), I believe the hitch then becomes 410 and is no longer in the range if the Broncos capabilities.
Also thinking...
No offense taken. This is not my first time under a vehicle, but I have not owned a truck frame vehicle since my 2005 Ranger.
To be clear I am not at all surprised the parts have rust. They are bare metal and I'd be more surprised if they didn't. The fact that I'm not out of the break in period...
So I went under and used a wire brush on it with WD40 and then applied lithium grease to it. What concerns me is the entire surface is not just rusty, but pitted as well. This is both cv joint/axels and the entire drive shaft, both the smooth and ridged section. I find it hard to believe in less...
Thank you for the feedback. Glad I wasn't getting some old parts off a heap in some holding warehouse. I'll do as suggested. Salt sucks... Underside washes every time they put it down from now on.
Maybe it's just surface and not a big deal, but I wanted a second opinion.
I just noticed rust on a few parts when I was installing a new accessory. Being in the northeast I am used to rust, but I've had the Bronco about 1 month and put 527 miles on it. There was a little road salt one or two...
