Units per interval is very different from average assembly time. You have to deduct ramp-up time.
If you start assembling these truck every 30 seconds, eventually you will begin completing one every 30 seconds.
I had the fancy foam pieces installed. Broke a second time. The solution was not to wash the truck in the extreme cold.
And, always carry a ratchet strap to keep the door closed.
I believe there is an additional step in there. I’ve ordered 8 times. I understood the VIN was not assigned when the order was accepted. The VIN is assigned once assembly is scheduled. Perhaps on some vehicles, trims, options cause this to move quicker or slower. One F150, and one Fusion, I made...
Ford, and many others have been using aluminum on hoods for several years.
F-150 has been all aluminum since 2015.
I was caught in a hail storm with my 2015 F-150. The truck was not damaged. The BakFlip folding cover had very obvious hail damage.
I am not concerned.
A vehicle that is scheduled to arrive so long after ordering is going to get as little as possible to secure the order. My last F150 was 12 weeks and I only paid $200.00. I guess it depends on your dealer, their (perceived) risk, and your relationship with them.
I grew up riding in the back of a Jade Green Bronco. Dad kept it topless in July/August. A black top, white wheels, and KC’s mounted to the push bar...
I’d love to get it in that same green.
Read the entire post. I believe they were throwing out some timelines when pressed to do so. It is a perceived delay. Yes, pushing the launch resulting in a condensed timeline would have been better.
To say you are disappointed in the marketing is a fair statement. That doesn’t mean they are not doing their job. They have a playbook, and they will do their best to run that.
I believe part of the issue is people pressing for answers, or better yet pressing for updated timelines. When...
Daily driver. 6 months of snow. Many short camping trips between June and August. Canoe and mountain-bike transport. Annual family vacation to some random destination in North America.
Flat and reflective are not enough to turn me away. The fact that it looks like a pair of panties is the reason I will be removing this and not replacing it with anything that resembles it.
I think I am going with KC. I want the yellow covers! A throwback to my dad’s 1978 Bronco with three on the push bar. The pricing seems fair for the performance based on about 100+ reviews I’ve watched at this point.
I really liked it on my 2018 F150 Lariat. Switched to 4A in any inclement weather. Left it on from November through March. I couldn’t tell you if/when or how often it engaged.
Yeah, I can drive in whatever-wheel drive, I can lock hubs, etc. It is convenient and worked well on my last vehicle...
You said no pop-up... Have you considered a hard wall A-liner? Now that my kids don’t camp with us, there is no need for the 30’ trailer. Also no need for a pickup to tow that beast.
I have been looking into this, and these are a serious contender. I plan to mount a rack to hold the canoe and...
Road trip from Alberta to Moab. A couple days there, just doing the easy/scenic stuff, then head East to Michigan. Visit family and friends there. Silver Lake Sand Dunes for a day. Then north through the UP to Ontario. West back to Alberta.
As an A-plan qualified buyer, when I see X-plan is available, I understand A-plan is as well. I usually see X-plan advertised as that is what most people who qualify for a discount would get.
