Wife keeps her auto brights off and I understand why. My truck has much better sensitivity when turning on/off than her Bronco.

Are the large brackets in your last pic not attached to the soft top frame? i can measure the bolts for you as I have them sitting in a ziplock bag after I swapped the oem top for the bestop.

Reverse engineer in what way you thinking? Ive had my windshield header panel and switches off 2x in the last week and wired switches 5-6 hot at all times along with running my own custom harness up there for front & rear dashcams.

Depending on your tongue weight, I will say if its towards the upper 350lb range, the rear bronco suspension will sag if you have a badlands.

Could always do what I did to my wrangler several years back. Stripped it down to tub/firewall then installed dynamat, closed-cell foam, mass loaded vinyl (including inside the doors and firewall) and then installed the carpet.
