there are a few options.. Either tie into the rear right speaker for an input to the kicker key sub, or spend some money with plugnplay.com and grab a harness. the latter is what i did. that truly makes it plug and play beyond running a power wire from the battery.
Yes, where that little cubby is in non-subwoofer equipped models. Use a large drill bit on the plastic rivets on the back of the panel and remove the cubby. Grilles are available on Etsy to fill the remaining void
I have never found a need for using the TTA... I kind of laughed when this thread popped up in the unread though. I literally ran to town this morning, pulled in the back side of my land on the way back, and clicked it to say i have used it once.
It definitely causes a tighter turn, but still...
on the road, I run 2wd 97% of the time. that last 3% is usually spirited stoplight to stoplight goofing off. With how the suspension is designed, it hikes the front end up under heavy acceleration in 4a, which also is fun.
the downside is, less gas mileage, and does lose traction on the drivers...
