This thread talks all about the engine noises/ noise cancellation stuff with the lux.
What are the trims for each? The B&O equipped broncos have engine noises piped into the cabin. I don’t remember now for sure on the lower trim stereo but I don’t believe it does.
Well after entirely too much time spent, I installed the axxess amp bypass for the B&O system. In the process I figured out you need around 10 open channels off your amp/amps to really do it right. Also the rear speakers and the center speaker isn’t wired into the harness back at the B&O amp, so...
Update continued. Swapped the Ford Bimini for the Jtops one. Had to do some customizing to make it work with some of the other stuff I have going on. Also installed the light switch for front and rear fogs and went into forscan and turned them on along with adding sport. Later I’ll work on...
Another update, went against peoples opinions on some fender flares and tbh I actually like how they look.
Also got my replacement chase bar from KC Lights, have it all hard wired in using the trailer plug harness.
Not really. Had to go a decent amount lower in tire pressure. Haven’t hit any trails yet though so not sure how much better of a job the bigger tires will do keeping the shock mounts from hanging up. Fuel mileage is similar so far with the 4.7 gears. Power feels the same.
Saw these fender flares available for the bronco and part of me thinks they look decent but just not really sure how it’ll look as a whole deal and not from this bit shown in the photo.
Got around to getting some 37s and after a few hours of wrestling around with them got them on minus the spare. Crazy how just a little larger tire adds so much clearance for the shocks.
I flexed it out around the farm too to check for any rubbing and everything seems a ok, so looking forward...
Been a few weeks since I’ve don’t an update on some mods I’ve made, so giving an update.
Added the DV8 inner fender liners and DV8 rear light bar and speaker bracket. Hooked up my KC Lights chase bar onto it only to find out it had one light not working correctly so waiting for warranty on that...
Yeah I’ve been thinking of flipping the axle to under the leafs to raise it up a little ,just worried about how it’s already angled downward at the hitch. Might be better off putting spacers between the frame and the box to get it up higher now that I think about it. And the trailer is pretty...
Well had a good day today hanging out with the Gold Country Bronco peeps at a cars and coffee meet up. Hit up Prairie City out of Sac with them after, was my first time ever being there. Was fun learning exactly how much read flex the Icon kit gives and trying to tackle some harder obstacles...
Haven’t had any so far and there was a few 100+ days after I tossed it in. We’ve kinda always tossed a bug screen on our pickups around our farm just anymore no one makes ones for a specific vehicle so figured so screen material for house windows would work just as well.
