There is already a thread for this. If you could delete this thread and post in the other thread, that would be great: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/i-cancelled-my-reservation-master-thread.8252
Edited to add: Looks like someone merged this thread into the master cancellation thread...
Hard tops never cost $695. The 4 door comes with a soft top. You can upgrade to the hardtop for $695. In doing so, you are getting credit for the soft top you are giving up. The $695 is the difference between the hard top and the soft top. However, if you chose the dual top option, the cost was...
With the limited number of MIC tops being manufactured, soft tops are being produced disproportionately. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ford builds all the soft top orders. Once that happens, it would make sense for Ford to build soft tops for dealer stock.
I suspect the interest level has exceeded expectations. I'm sure Ford was hoping for high demand but the demand likely exceeded all their projections. When you are trying to keep all the details secret until the reveal, it seems like a challenge to do an accurate demand projection.
I don't see how a MOD top would be an equivalent model to anything you might currently have on order since you can't order a MOD top.
I've been wondering how this will work if we want to make changes. If we make a change once MY22 pricing comes out, will we lose the entire guarantee? Or will we...
That is totally dependent on the demand on the resale market for 2 door vs 4 door. If 35% of the current buyers want 2 door, but only 25% of the resale buyers want 2 door, the 4 doors will have better resale. My guess would be that Bronco enthusiasts, who make up a large percentage of the...
From 1978-1996, Ford built a 4wd vehicle that was basically an F-150 with a shorted frame, a rear seat, and an enclosed cargo area. They called it a Bronco.
In 1997, Ford replaced that with a 4wd vehicle that was basically an F-150 on a full size F-150 frame, a rear seat, and an enclosed cargo...
Cool unless you didn't want it for some reason. Might ask him why they didn't pick up the phone and call customers they didn't hear back from or why they didn't send a second personalized email. They should know it is not unusual for these types of emails to end up in a spam folder. That is a...
True, but it seems like it would have had to be a pretty small dealer if the 3rd order is a Jan 11 timestamp. It's also possible he got a priority order and isn't aware of or didn't mention that.
The post would have been more meaningful if it was posted in the correct place: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/i-cancelled-my-reservation-master-thread.8252/
:D
That is crazy that they had to go all the way to a Jan 11 reservation date to find something that could be built. They are going to run out of buildable orders pretty quick at that rate.
I'm not against hybrids other than that taxes I pay go toward someone else's rebate. If hybrids and EVs are so great, why do they need to be subsidized? I am not a fan of EVs. If my ICE runs out of gas in the middle of no where, I just need a can of gas to get it running again. What are the...
How would this solve anything? Changing to nonremovable top would mean this needs to go back to the Ford engineers for an updated design. That will take far longer than solving the production issue for the existing top.
