This should have been the Area 51 color.
Prove me wrong.
(I will fight you - gently.)
I do love this color. And it was near what I was hoping for in a DARK teal. Yes, I appreciate it's more grey. But here we are.
Yeah - I didn't state that very well. I meant when you can give the time and attention to a single element of a vehicle, as opposed to building everything from the ground up at once.
Jeep has the luxury of focusing on one component of an existing vehicle, and not having 1000 other things...
Agree. It's time. But innovation is hard. Easier to refine an existing model to a hybrid, than design from the ground up. They have a hole in the lineup to patch. And they will.
Being 100% honest, I don't love the visibly wider fender flares on the WT.
I loved the idea of taking the flares off, and replacing with an aftermarket option that snugged up close to the body - but the tires will stick way too far out to do that . . .

That's awesome.
I thought the white interior was the only option for marine grade. Love this.
Any idea if this material will get super hot in summer sun? Or is it somewhat breathable?
That's my only worry. Hard to have a convertible in summer sun with black, smooth, plasticky seating.
It's not faked. Ford has said they won't offer THIS interior. That it was just used as a mock up for release.
Which is ridiculous.
I actually loved this interior as well.
Won't cancel though.
