How do we know if something is a DIO? For example, the air compressor can be installed in the engine bay, does the purchase price include dealer installation?
I assumed the running boards would be installed (they are listed under "Options"). But what about the rock rails, that are listed...
Here's my big question: Does the garage opener work (is it powered) when the vehicle is off? My Toyota Land Cruiser had a powered garage door opener when it was off. That was bad enough in a vehicle with e roof. I am terrified of a topless vehicle where that works while parked in the driveway.
This is my biggest issue: hard vs. soft.
I am planning to have this rig a while - but the MIC is not a long-term solution.
Considering ordering a soft on the BL, and ordering a Mod at some point - but I am not a fan of being limited to the soft for 1-2 years while Coronavirus wreaks havoc on...
Are the tires on this one the 33" optional tires? Doesn't look like the K02 tread . . .
But maybe there are variations on that tire.
Edit - these are for sure the Goodyear tires. Tread matches the Sasquatch. I am curious if folks can tell that these are 33s - as they do look good.
Putting my 4 year old son into a car seat supported by a broken down cardboard box.
Your real beef is with Ford! If they'd announced the Bronco 7 years ago, this board would have existed and you'd have learned the way! :)
The website says these wheels are available with the Badlands, with the Goodyear M/T. But you can add it a la carte - it doesn't force you to move off the "stock" KO2s. I am assuming that's a B&P error.
Agree - the wheels/tires in the photo above total approx. $1600. Squatch is another $800 over that. And other than 2" larger tires, and bumpstops, we don't know what we're paying for with that $800. It's not all tires, obviously.
Hopefully Ford can share a bit more info.
This is what I keep telling myself.
Especially, and loudly, when I see a profile shot of a Squatched rig.
It just looks so good! It's going to be hard to pass up.
Baby steps. The Bronco is going to destroy the Wrangler's market.
Just as capable off-road? Check. Customizable with any size wheels up to 35? Check. No death wobble? Lulz. Competitively priced? Yep. Hundred of DIOs to customize your Bronco? Uh-huh. Spotty welds? I admit we'll have...
I am currently on a BL with the 33" KO2s.
I think it's the perfect mix of livability/snow/trail handling. I won't be doing any rock crawling.
But I am wondering if I won't miss having Squatch at some point.
For those of you staying with the 33s, are any of you considering getting the 4.7...
