  1. Soft top with rear open on Badlands Bronco

Yep - doesn't bother me. Pulling the top back from an SUV? It's going to pile up in the back. That's physics. Or geometry. Or some other math I don't know. I could never make a soft top that retracts invisibly. But given almost THIRTY YEARS I could darn sure make a black hard top. :giggle:
  2. Soft top with rear open on Badlands Bronco

If I could see a video of the soft top working, I might skip the insanity of a MIC hard top. And embrace the "Soft Top Life." At least until the black modular hard top is available.
  3. Manual Bronco rock crawling by Vaughn Gittin Jr

Put this on the list of things I won't do in my Bronco.
  4. Goodyear Territory M/T's...Everything you want to know!

Any idea when they'll know? This is a factor in my decision to go Squatch or sit tight with the KO2 on the Badlands.
  5. Is this not an interior option?

It is not. Concept only. Closest existing is in the OBX.
  6. Bronco GVWR Issues

Something else, besides GVWR is going on. For example, you can't add Paint Protection Film or roof rails to a Badlands 4 door with 2.7 engine. But you CAN Sasquatch it. That can't possibly be a GVWR issue. But it's clearly an issue - we just don't know WHY. (n)
  7. 2021 Bronco Preliminary Build & Price Dealer Quick Reference Guide [PDF]

That makes sense to me, but no PPF?! How much could that possibly weigh? Something's funky here. What's next, they won't add the remote start fob, or floor mats, because of the weight? :p Or maybe I need to step on a scale before getting in?
  8. 2021 Bronco Preliminary Build & Price Dealer Quick Reference Guide [PDF]

This confirms no sound deadener with a 4-door/2.7L in the Badlands. Not a B&P bug. Also no PPF/no brushguard/no roof rails with 4-door/2.7L. Regardless of Squatch. WTF.
  9. Color? Is that your final answer?

Gonna be a LOT of Carbonized Grays after the transport thread . . .
  10. Is anyone else considering a Bronco that is overkill for your daily use...but looks so cool you want to buy it anyway?

Are you in my brain? I went Wildtrak initially, then down to a Big Bend, to an OBX, and finally to the Badlands. I'll be paying for some stuff I won't need, but maybe I'll grow into it! And the idea of 33s over stock is great.
  11. Found a Wildtrak in Area 51 (4 Door / Soft Top)

This is 100% correct. Rather than throwing in the MIC top for free, they should give you an option to take a free soft top and pay for the modular black hard top to be shipped later.
  12. B&P Features That I Don't Understand

Um, please tell me the garage door opener won’t work in a parked Bronco with no roof . . .
  13. Had to drive the 2.3

I was set on a manual 2.3 until I read this and reality came crashing down. Thanks for nothing! ;)
  14. I don't understand it, big tires equal no roof rack?

Requiring the 2.3 with the sound-deadener really threw me into a tizzy last night. Ford's B&P "rockstars" indeed . . .
  15. Marine Grade Vinyl + car seats = Ruined?

I always used a broken down cardboard box under the car seat. Worked like a champ.
  16. Wildtrak Race Red 4 Door Bronco w/ Soft Top Down & Keyless Entry Keypad

Ha - I actually thought this WASN'T the Squatch package when I looked at it!
  17. Washout floor, rubber floor mats, rear AC / heat air vents in 4 door Bronco Overland build

Agree. It's so close to the console! It's an easy engineering problem to solve for, by the designers. Additionally, as seen in the last pic, the floor mat diverts some of the air. Inefficient.
