If I wanted a Jeep I would have bought one by now. With all of the aftermarket support they have, it's not hard to build a "Sasquatch" version yourself out of a Rubicon.
Constructive criticism is never a bad thing.
We pretty much had a choice between waiting another few years for a refined version or get something now and live with the areas needing improvement.
I would rather buy a stubby antenna and guards for the LCAs then wait.
You only live once!
The factory MIC top is a steal really. Especially now with the free headliner.
Option 1 - Get the factory soft-top, save $700 up front. Later on you want a hard top? Probably looking at close to $4000 for something modular of the same quality with a headliner. Total cost to have two tops...
Wait for aftermarket. People who load up on the limited amount of factory stuff will be kicking themselves next year when there are tons of aftermarket goodies.
Similar. 7/13 res minutes after the banks were open. 4dr BB, non-sas 2.3L. In the top 10 reservations at a dealer with about 200 allocations. No email. 🤷♂️
I'm going to assume that the first wave was primarily priority orders and first editions. Now, if several months go by with no word and I see a bunch of people with much later reservations than mine get notified I will be extremely frustrated and disappointed.
Had my res done less than 10 min after the banks open 7/13. Ordered a Big Bend, 2.3, AT, non-sasquatch. No E-mail.
If I'm not driving mine by mid-Summer it will be the first and last Ford I buy.
I changed my order from a Base to Big Bend, but the Ford site still says Base (with a picture of a Big Bend). But my dealer rep showed me the build sheet and assured me that the order is correct in the system. I don't think the consumer-facing side of this is accurate or updated...
I can't imagine they would have one for the 2.7L and not the 2.3L. Will be interesting to see what they allow for tire size changes - the Ranger version only allows calibration up to 31.5" tires.
Keeping the stock BB wheels (I like them. There I said it!).
Would love to dump the stock tires on offerup/craigslist/etc. for a few hundred bucks though.
Plan to put some better AT tires 285/70R17 on there immediately.
Want something more aggressive and snow rated.
