We have an adhesive expert on the forums and he said they used the correct one. The assembler likely didnāt follow the the correct curing process or didnāt sufficiently clean the surface prior which is why they can fail. If you do it yourself...
I need the same answer. Relatively easy to remove the grill and access the camera. If no calibration is needed Iāll buy one and try it.

Should be a little heavier since itās fiberglass instead of MIC, and it has the headliner, but not enough to make a difference in your case hopefully.
