I got the kit in from Anderson! Going to attempt the repair this week. Does this type of Adhesive look good for this application by your experience?

Their support team is getting back to me. When they do I will find out what type of adhesive it is and let you know to get your opinion. Thanks again for your help man!
OP how did this work out for you? I just had this same thing happen to me this morning. The strut also scratched the my hard top above the rear glass when it failed smh
Just changed my vote to No
Literally just now went out opened my rear glass to put stuff in the trunk and the adhesive on the driver side strut FAILED. The strut then scratched the paint above the rear glass on the top since nothing was holding it in place.
Going to call Anderson to give them...
