Did you unscrew the oil filter before you drained the oil? or after? My 2.7 holds just a little shy of 7-quarts.

I was disappointed that it didn't say Whipple on it when I got it, so I copied the Whipple name off of the install manual, enlarged it, made a stencil and spray painted with high heat black to make my own. You were right I love it!!!

The Whipple is much thicker than the factory unit. That how it gains its efficiency. But it doesn't hang down any lower. You have to discard the factory shutter damper in order to use it, hence the bumper must come off. It's no big deal. I have never gauged the benefit of a performance product...

Yepper. I have one in the garage collecting dust. Their information says nothing about it not fitting the capable bumper.

It won't fit a capable bumper. the "D" tow rings are in the way of the mounting brackets. Ask me how I know.

Very interesting I'm attempting this very thing. I have all the parts just need to find the time to weld them together and hang it under the back.

I think lane assist is dangerous. If you do have to swerve to avoid something you have to fight it first. I've turned it off in both of my cars.

2010 F-150 King Ranch. I didn't trade it in. I gave it to my 16yo Grandson. It has Stage 1 Comp Cams, Headers, CAI and a custom tune from 5-Star Tuning. It is pretty quick for a truck. I do miss it sometimes, but I just have to jump in the Bronco and all is forgotten.
