While towing my trailer home from the hunting lease my Bronco went into limp-mode. I'm wondering since I have the ZFG e85 tune and I had to fill up with questionable 93 octane gas during the trip, if that could cause the problem? I tried disconnecting the battery for a while, which reset things...
I think I have the same issue. I really wasn't sure if the bog was just in my mind or actually happening so maybe it really is happening.....My mind has played tricks on me before:wink:
Very interesting. I have the Whipple Stage 1 cooler which is bigger than most but obviously not as large as the CVF. We are supposed to have our first 100deg day today so I'm curious as to the effect that will have.
If you are willing to make most of the other bolt-on mods and willing to run e85 fuel then you will not be disappointed. My 0-60 times are in the high fours and the torque below the curve is amazing. The shifting of the trans also makes a big difference.
Once you do this mod you will never want...
I have the ZFG ECU swap. I don't know for sure that you can just plug and play the old unit back in.
Adam at ZFG will be able to tell you for sure. I will say that if you are worried about going back to the dealer then this probably isn't the mod for you.
I think so, I havenāt had time to run the dragy yet. My test road is blocked off for construction. But my butt dyno says itās faster. I just installed the GPE manifold and t-body plus the boomba spacers today. Iāll post results tomorrow if I can.
My build is in my signature. I do have a RC winch on the front and a DV8 full roof rack. I launch in Sand mode, traction control off, manual mode in 2nd gear and move it to auto. Power brake to 2,700rpm +/-.
