Great news on the rock slider plugs . I was digging around in the glove box last night and found a baggy of little rectangular black plugs or covers.
Yep, sure enough was the correct qty, that I had holes looking at the little instruction paper in the bag , seemed to be related to the rock...
Sorry I thought it was 2 holes per side it’s 4. I put a light on there and saw it was actually 4 square holes I need caps or plugs for. Here are some better pics.
I thought I could get the plugs for the rock slider, thinking it was the same part.
There are two square ish holes on the top of the rock slider for the steps to hook into.
I thought I just needed to call the Ford dealer and order the rock slider plugs. However being different parts one with...
Its actually both, the graphics kit does not cover that area where the poly rock guard goes. Takes both to creat the two tone look I have on mine, without the rock guard, there would still be some white on the very bottom, including the unsightly pinch welds.
Let me know if you need a different angle .
They are somewhat hard to see. You can see the top of it below the door edge and above the rock slider.
I was not sure if I was going to use them but ended up really glad I bought them. The graphics kit in the pics on the Ford website show the entire...
That’s interesting, I didn’t realize they were different.
That may mean finding the plugs I am needing could turn into bigger problem to find then I thought.
Before on the day I got it.
After
Lots of little modifications all detailed in my build thread.

Got my Ford graphics kit installed, lower rocker guards installed, rock rails put back on without the steps.
Also had the windshield coated with an exterior protective film.
New graphics kit now installed, exterior windshield protection film installed. Lower rocker covers installed, and side steps removed from the rock sliders.
Here are some pics of the new look.
I think the overall goal to elongate the appearance in a visual sense, make it less stubby looking, I...
The Ford graphics kit finally arrived last week.
It is getting professionally installed today.
I stopped in this morning to see how it was going.
Wow, it is a lot of work and lot more complicated than I thought it would be.
A lot of cutting and trimming and heating and stretching and so on.
I...
It does, but for how much longer, I don't know.
The water level is down so much, there is pockets of water that have fish in them, but those pockets are drying up fast.
There will likely be some fish survive down by the dam. But even that area has been getting lower by the day.
Forecast is...
It was just starting to rain or sprinkle a bit when I figured, that if I was ever going to take the Bronco out there and play a bit, I better do it then.
After raining most of the night, it still looked about the same when I got up this morning.
Maybe a water puddle out in the pond bed here...
Took my Bronco down into my dried-up pond bed for a few pics off road last night.
Since we have been in a bit of drought the past 8 months or so, my 10-acre pond has about dried up.
But has given me the opportunity to clean out a lot of the dead tree limbs and dig it out a bit deeper the past...
I have mine independently wired as well.
I have mine set to Aux 1 as white, and Aux 2 is Amber.
If both Aux switches are on, then the lights are Amber same as if I only turn on Aux 2.
Thanks, for the very nice review.
I was looking at those Rhino steps too.
Thought I would stick with AMP if I could. Since had several sets of them.
However, if those Rhino steps are available at my truck accessory dealer, and the AMP steps are still on backorder, I am planning on those Rhino...
I will keep you posted.
That sounds good to me.
Yes we can ship them, also have a OEM bull bar for the mod bumper, that bull bar is
already boxed up and ready to ship.
I am planning on doing this AMP step mod.
I am only waiting on my FORD graphics kit to come in and get installed.
I...
