The ones I bought today are AYB and AVB?
Does the B matter, if not then sounds like I have bought the softer 4dr springs which should be ideal for my 2dr if I am following the info in this thread correctly.
Thanks, but I pulled the trigger on these this morning.
I just hope they fit ok.
Part numbers seem to be all over the place, and nothing seems very consistent.
These are off a 4dr.
I sure hope they fit and work like they should on my 2dr.
,
I found a Vin to a 2023 loaded Wildtrack and here are the part numbers it is showing.
Front
Part #: NB3-Z18124-A MSRP is showing $1003.64
Rear
Part #: NB3-Z18125-A MSRP showing $ 992.73
Based on the cookbook here I should have the following springs on my Bronco.
Front = MB3Z-5310-L
Rear = MB3Z-5560-C
If I understand what I am reading in this thread correctly the springs I have now would fit on the Fox HOSS 3.0 shocks.
Is that correct?
Looks like what I am needing to buy is the following.
I am planning to ask my Ford dealer to get me a quote on the parts.
I do have a wholesale part account with them, so prices should be a little under retail prices.
Needed parts list.
2-Door HOSS 3.0
Front
Struts: NB3Z-18124-A
Springs...
Would it not be too crazy to think these prices might still be sort of close to today's cost using the springs for a 2dr.
$2454 is only 450 more then a used set of takeoffs I found that came off a 4dr, which I am sure has stiffer springs then I need. I am thinking spending the extra 450 would...
How did your HOSS 3.0 swap go?
Would lover to hear more and if you gained a smoother ride and if you ran into any issues using the 4dr set on your 2dr.
I have been looking into doing the same thing to my 2dr Badlands.
I too found a set of take offs with around 100 miles on them, price is...
I found this thread searching for HOSS 3.0 info and if anyone has swapped out the Badland Bilstein's for the HOSS 3.0. Watched a lot of videos and reviews and a few comparisons.
Found this one video where they make the swap and seems to be a smoother ride.
I have a 2dr and find that OE shocks...
I am about 99% sure, that is exactly what will likely happen to me, if I take mine in.
They will say can't duplicate it.
Since it involves elements created by mother nature (Wind related issue) , and that wind direction and speed variable can change by the minute around here, The effects seem...
Yep, that is pretty much it.
That is what is happening with mine, if I roll the window down or even lower it partially down, in high winds it can't seem to roll all the way back up and seal into place.
For now, you should try dropping your passenger window at least partially down. Then try...
No, this is the first hearing about a reset procedure.
Where are the vent flaps on the located on the tailgate.
I do have one of those soft canvas cargo organizers strapped on the metal part of the swing gate. However, that has been on there for 8 or 9 of the last 10 months of ownership.
Oh yea, that north wind this morning is brutal here. Gust to 30 and its something like 10 degrees outside.
I had it happen again this morning traveling around 45-50mph into that 20-30mph north wind.
Happened last weekend 3 times on the interstate traveling 75-80mph both into the wind and with a...
I live in the south-central KS and northern Oklahoma.
We get a lot of wind sweeping down the planes. LOL
I have noticed over the past month that when traveling at higher speeds like on the interstate at 75mph on windy days, which windy days are common here, and wind speeds range around...
I guess I will wait and see what 2025 brings, maybe they will spread through the whole lineup.
Would love to see few other improvements as well.
‘Might be enough new improvements to make looking at trading worthwile.
Has no one successfully transplanted a Coyte v8 into the 6G Bronco yet.
All I found online was these guys that have not posted an update to the project in over 10 months.
I really would not have thought it would be this difficult.
